She doesn’t NEED to do shit but whatever she wants to do with her own voice, body, and life. Just because you like how it sounds does not mean you get to tell her what she should be doing.
Which sucks cuz she will never forget those experiences and now those rappers are forever on her albums. SMH. The industry is one crazy demonic circus.
I thought she was going speak about how bad they treat women. It’s not surprising they lack professionalism in business dealings. Disclaimer: not ALL of them!
I think that's painfully Duh obvious. We've known that since the 90s, nothing new. Have you listened to half the music?😅 thank you next 😅... Also a song written by Victoria. Encopied by culture vulture
The way y’all are only hating because the rumors. Before that y’all loved their friendship. Y’all love saying what other folks say. The video isn’t even about Ariana
Not nice to the engineers! The engineer is the one person you don’t want to make mad. Now I want to know how horrible certain rap albums were “accidentally” produced with low quality. 😂😂😂😂
😂 some of them albums sound like a bad radio connection! That’s like pissing off the waitress before she brings the food. It’s some stupid ass people out here…
As an ex manager it’s facts but the reality isss THE ENGINEERS ARE THE SMARTEST IN THE ROOM AND DESERVE RESPECT AND THE SPACE TO WORK. One of my artists thought because he was learning he could be disrespectful and over take the session. Big mistake. It wasn’t just any engineer either he worked with a lot of California old school rappers. I love you Tony! Loved watching him work. He made any track sound magical
When I worked at a radio station I saw how disrespectful and entitled a lot of these upcoming artists and influencers are. The industry is small and you never know who you're dealing with. In a few years the person you crossed could be someone that holds the key to your next opportunity.
Dang she is so awesome. Humble and angelic. She has the same air and vibe about herself since the beginning from when she was in a Purple Reign starting with little to nothing to now, so much accomplished and blessed with. Good for her.
The industry is bullsh***. Some of these engineers gets f***ed up on purpose solely bc they want to f***. They think women would just do it for their song get mixed.
I'm kinda surprised we haven't seen more films or movies with the muses. I've only seen them in the animated movie Hercules and even then, they weren't quite the same.
Know your circle especially those who come disguised a wolf in sheep's clothing.. don't allow anyone to pressure you into changing your morals and values
Why is everyone saying this 💀 those two ain't the only woman to talk softy and quietly, Janet been doing that for decades now- shii even Mariah be talking like that from time to time. Atp it's like everyone's looking for another reason to hate Ari 😭
@@svmb0dy lol I just did tho. It's so weird how everyone is invested in this like it matters either way, I don't understand why they can't just both talk like that seeing how they always have 🤦🏾♂️
Then you’d get sued.. on top of that no one would record an entire album for release under one engineer. Lastly, you’ll never be talented enough to do anything like being a engineer
This is always so hard to hear. I'm a hip hop artist/rapper and I pride myself on being professional (on-time, prepared, a team player, kind, etc) and I promise I'm not an anomaly lol. But unfortunately this is the narrative me and many others have to navigate
rappers NEED engineers. i hate when people speak to others like they’re beneath them. paying attention to how people treat others when it comes to friendships or relationships will help you know about their character
The gag is that these rappers sound like they belong in the slow class without these amazing sound engineers giving them amazing beats and sounds that really captures people’s attention.
The fact that yall are still letting grown ass adults get away with stuff like that in “work” environments (or anywhere) is why rappers end up killed and in jail. No one holds them accountable because what? Money? The he industry? Yall put them on pedestals? I blame society. And it will continue until enough people get hurt and then finally decide to stand up. There is no excuse for shit like this.
She was 41 and so beautiful still! Great questions as always Bobbie. A lot can be learned from your style of work. So many press junkets ask such silly questions and want to play games and not ask deep questions about the roles. Not giving them the chance to explain the perspective of their craft.
Funny you’re from Massachusetts and I been considering moving there lol the cold has me nervous since I’m from Florida. Texas is also another option for me too . My environment here is just negative everything reminds me of the past, lots of triggers, hard to grow when those around you expect you to fail. Florida is done for
Years ago a rapper told me he was planning to get out of the game because he felt most of his fellow rappers were kind of lazy. He worked hard at what he did, but had to share live shows with guys who just randomly rhymed and had no flow or narrative or poetry. Last I heard he'd gotten into folk music!
I'd appreciate it if I had an engineer help me out cause the more I learn about building instrumentals and beats from scratch, the more I know just how much work is actually put into it. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE building it up, but to have someone else work on that part while I stick to vocals would be a little nice too.
I want a red table talk on this or something. I need her to elaborate. Dont let these mfs get a pass. Is the unspoken rule in the black community worth your integrity
Love this. So much nuances, shades, and so many gradients. I do get annoyed by some flirts. I’m an large introverted Black man. I have gotten the “I’m a white woman you’re supposed to be attracted to me even though I’m repulsed by you” interaction a lot. I don’t want to be friendly just to make someone feel safe. I just want to buy my coffee or go to the gym in peace. I’ve learned to be stoic and invisible just to feel emotionally safe.
