Almost every single model had an AMAZING walk; their bodies were athletic, and you could SEE the clothes, instead of being distracted by the tacky costumes of todays shows.
the point of the modern shows isn't showing off the clothing, its a spectacle to get the brand known so that people will look into the clothing, thats what made VS stand out compared to other brands.
2019: Victoria secret is dead. Sales are the lowest, ever, stock is steadily loosing value, quality of the product has decreased noticibly, VS fashion show 2018 lowest viewed show EVER (Only 3 million viewers) and consumers are opting for more inclusive brands like Rihanna's lingerie line.....and Adriana Lima left! SMH, but they had a great run. Rip😢
they went from a sexy, women's brand to a cheesy girls underwear brand.... they attempted to go back but the damage was done. If they did a show like this today with their mid to late 2000s icons like Candice, Lindsay, Adriana, Giselle and so on, it'd be hot... bring back the sophistication that this era had
Okay! I actually liked their lingerie and garments better then...they could have became as classy as brands like La Perla but instead, they really reduced their standards to selling cheap/tacky bras and pajamas to teenyboppers and little girls. Of course there’s a connection to Epstein and Les Wexner... 🙄
