I love the storyline! When you said it was a woman, her son, and the son's baby, I thought it was gonna be a "adult had to move back in with their parents because of divorce/death/other tragedy" story but no, it's an alien baby!

i love to hear you gush about your storylines theyre so fun and you can really see the care in your builds! i cant speak for everyone but i enjoy hearing it and dont mind so much if you happen to talk over the decorations of certain rooms since were getting a feel for why theyre decorated that way anyway as you tell us about your families!

I love the alien abduction storyline! I had the thought that maybe their housekeeper is a single parent of a child of the same age who wants to be a scientist...with the idea they could reveal the family secret and someday the children will travel to the alien world - or, the housekeepers sibling is a nosy scientist...so many ideas. Love it, love the build!

I love this storyline so much and I love playing with aliens. Alien Sims get their disguise form from toddlerhood, btw so you can send them to school without fear. That being said, the best way to tell if you're talking to an alien is that they glow when they experience strong emotions. Anything from "very happy" to "very uncomfortable" will make them glow in the color of that emotion and is how you can "discover" a Sim is an alien. Also, if you're going with the storyline that he was on his way home from the bar, know that most bars occasionally have Alien Night and maybe he interacted with aliens without knowing it and that's what got them interested in him. I had that happen in my game recently and my Sim came back with triplet aliens. He had the "Hates Children" trait and abandined the kids with his wife after divorcing her. It was a mess.

I literally thought I was the only person who does that with back stories of my sims. 🤣 literally trying to sleep, or take a shower, and just coming up with more information for the sims. Lol I love this home 💖

i quite love when you tell your storylines because it reminds me i can be more creative with my gameplay. i like when you explain how you're decorating a room but i absolutely love the reasoning behind the decorating !!

the view on this lot is amazing oml, the house is exquisite as always but idk what it is about the view of the canyons just took my breath away asec there xD also ngl really love the backstory you came up with, sounds like a super cute family and honestly a great concept for a movie if I'm being honest, also love that you mentioned the parent trap movie, that was one of my faves growing up

i love strangerville its such a cool town and the lighting is amazing. It's funny when your sim is hanging by the pool, sipping a drink and out comes running a sim with their head popped off 😂 it would be so amazing to see a victorian house that's a bright colour, maybe yellow or purple? I imagine in Strangerville, the elites live up high and they are bunkering from the infestations, but its starting to show and people are freaking out. In the show sweet tooth they burn down houses of the infected and maybe its like that with this community?

I love the storyline for this build!! Aliens are one of my favorite occults in the sims, mainly because I just can't get rid of them in my legacies 😆. every gen of my current household (on gen 4 now!) has been abducted and had an alien baby, it's such a funny gameplay element and it literally haunts me 😂. Lovely house Jessica!

also another potential storyline idea that can kinda knit the world families together: u can dump bella goth in strangerville after she got abducted, so while shes trying to figure out what happened to her (without giving it away because shes also scared of the military) she accidentally stumbles upon this family and they bond over their abductions that they accidentally learn abt each other. or something along those lines. also because some of the strangerville dialogue is about bella goth u can play on that everything thats happening there is because of her

quick question, how do you keep track of what house belongs to what family? like, do you make the sims right after doing the house or do you just remember everything? because normally you make inticrate stories for your sims

Some storylines I remember more so then others, but I remember the majority of them but looking at the house - and if I forget any details I just revert back to my video 🤣😅

if this is for your save file you should also make a family that is fully aliens living a completely normal life, therefore once the child is an adult (or teen) she could find them and see she isn’t an outcast, and they can get a job and what not being in there disguise.

I know that it's the sims and its goofy with the whole alien impregnation but the way the story is painted or just the idea to me comes off as SA. Like theres nothing wrong with the story that's just how the whole premise in the games seem to me and I feel like it's never been addressed.

The wall decorations if that’s what you mean? I got a sim to make them and then saved a bunch to my saved rooms - I uploaded them to the gallery of you want to use them in your builds! 🤍

There currently isn’t a sewing machine in the sims 4, I’m not sure what your referring too but in the arts and crafts room I mostly used items from the knitting pack!
