The annual Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) Award of Excellence is held each November to recognise the most outstanding achievements in high performance sport by VIS athletes. The formal event is a wonderful celebration of success in sport and life with an opportunity for athletes and staff alike to reflect on the year that's been.
2023 saw Diamonds netball team members, Liz Watson, Kiera Austin and Jo Weston take out the pinnacle award - Award of Excellence - etching their names into VIS history.
