You released this video right when I was considering this watch. I watched a bunch of videos on the inox, but this one pushed me over the edge. I’m glad it did, the inox has gotten 90% of my wrist time over the last 4+years….thanks!
I have a green one. I wish it was solar too. But its a swiss movement with almost a 5 year battery rating. Thats not bad. I picked up a green rubber one for 125 US on ebay. I think the scalpers over purchased on this one cause its shocking how little they go for vs. MSRP. You can also get a grey and black modelon amazon canada brand new for 170ish canadian so I don't think some of these are doing well in the watch stores and getting dumped to the gray market. Almost bought that one but I wanted the green. That and those models don't come on color matched rubber strraps but leather straps. That being said try to find a red one. Those pupies are holding their value.
I have the quartz version of the INOX. This one is more shock resistant than the automatic one. I would always prefer this over an automatic from Seiko or any other brand for the same price, because it is better for things like windsurfing or riding bicycles, where regular shocks occur. I even bought the quartz INOX twice, once with a black dial and once the limited edition with a white dial.
matgorelsp Thank you for watching and commenting! I’m glad you’re enjoying your INOX and hope you enjoy your second one! I hope you’ll subscribe to the channel if you’re not already! At 1000 subscribers I’ll be doing another watch giveaway!
Very nice review. I have an INOX Titanium with the fire-resistant leather band and absolutely love it. I prefer it over any other watch, because it combines Swiss quality with a robustness only Japanese G-Shocks can offer. Even if somebody would offer me a Rolex, I would prefer my INOX. For me, the INOX is the best watch in the world. You can criticize me for that, but it is my opinion based on having owned a Rolex, several expensive TAG Heuers, G-Shocks and other watches.
I had the same problem with the clasp, also no micro-adjustments bugged me, anyways I put the divers clasp on it, the same that is on the automatic and it is great. The part number from Victorinox is 005529 if anybody is interested.
I got the diver model on St.St. bracelet last December. The dial has a fantastic amount of depth with date, indices and hands at different levels. This makes it very legible.

I just ordered the same INOX from Amazon today, with a light grey dial, and a brown leather band. I’m not a fan of the metal band. It’s amazing to me, that I paid $150.00 for the same watch that can cost upwards of $600.00 depending on the color and band. I passed on the diver, as it seems too clunky and heavy. I do appreciate your in-depth review, and have seen many videos and reviews praising this model and brand. Seems to be a lot of watch for your dollar, with features that cost much more on other brands.
Just got subscribed. Being a veteran watch enthusiast having small and humble collection I must appreciate your presentation. You are lucky to get a piece ticks exactly on the minute markers and they could use only minutes track instead of sub markers making the look busy The Citizen Tough watch is a tough watch but the display of the date is quite ugly whereas this INOX have a date display which is very much visible and that is very crisp in the INOX. The metal work is amazing, what is bit complicated is the clasp opening system. Perhaps they could have used a regular milled clasp with some kind of extension system while this is being a 200m diver. Please let me know your opinion.
@@TheTownWatch Diver has a 45mm case whereas this one has a 43mm case. Regardless, 21mm is definitely odd as most in this size range are either 20 or 22mm.
Yeah, I don't like the bracelet clasp either, it's kind of awkward and hard to use. It definitely is a solid piece. Thanks for watching! I hope you're entered into my giveaway that's going on now!
I've got this exact watch and although I love the aesthetics of the clasp it's sometimes a PITA to get off. And I somehow managed to get my wrist skin pinched in it once. Hurt like hell
Would be great if you could do the weight measurements in metric units too, as you have subscribers from outside the US and converting isn’t that nice when you watch a video.
SkysaxonDragonslayer Thanks for watching and thanks for the suggestion! I will try and remember to do that! By the way, I hope you’ve entered my giveaway currently going on now!
Similar use case to the Promaster Tough. Both have draw backs (lug widths on the Victorinox, boring dial and deep date on the Citizen.) Zany lug widths are an unforgiveable sin. Why do watch companies do this?
interestingly, i have the exact same model number as you (241723.1) but I have a different bracelet. Mine had a clasp very similar to the citizens, not the quirky Inox one in your video. Maybe they upgraded it and you bought an older unit?
All Things Important 89 You could be right. I have seen the other clasp on the INOX too. Thanks for watching! I hope you’ll subscribe if you aren’t already. I’m planning to do another watch giveaway at 1000 subscribers!
Thanks for tuning in and commenting! You're very encouraging but I don't think I'll reach that status! :) I'm fairly new to the watch world and still have a ton to learn!

Simon Hornby I started pronouncing INOX initially when I did an unboxing of this watch and had people tell me I should pronounce it ENOX. So it’s whatever to me. Thanks for watching. I hope you’ll subscribe. Once we get to 1000 subscribers I’ll be doing another watch giveaway. You’re not going to want to miss it!
