Love the videos! I remember when the first graphing calculators came out...professor points out to us in a class that 'all we have there are $3 calculators...the other $95 is only acquired (value) by knowing how to use every button, every function on the device...until then, we are simply using a very capable machine to do the most-rudimentary processes. The Swiss Army Knife is no different...capable of millions of things, if you only use it to cut string, you are not utilizing the true value in it! I prefer my Deluxe Tinker model to any 'multi-tool' on the market!
Felix, your level of genius never ceases to amaze me! Your level of enthusiasm never ceases to delight me! You are an asset to mankind. Keep doing what you do;)
I don't know how many of these videos I have watched but I do believe you are the real Magyver! Not only is this some of the smartest cleverest stuff I have seen but your happiness is infectious! Thanks for everything you do
And I already thought this was the best , most useful pocket knife ever invented and then I found your channel. By the way my wife and I visited your beautiful country around 1998 and went up to the Jungfrau thru the mountain on a train with cogged wheels. I bought my first SAK there in a souvenier shop. Great memories especially looking out the widow on our return flight and seeing the sun set behind the Alps!!
Felix there is no limit to your imagination.. you clearly have the freedom of thought.. you really help expand my mind to think out side the box.. well done again .. J
Vielen Dank, wieder was gelernt! :-) Peace Stephan
God I miss those cowbells. My father was US Air Force, and we camped off his Kawasaki Concourse touring bike many times in the Swiss Alps in the 90s. I am enjoying your videos, and your cows bells. :)
I'm going to modify the can opener for my "woods" SAK. Have to leave my "town" SAK alone. I use that little screw driver a lot. Great idea. Also didn't know about the trick to lift a no-bail pot off the fire. This old dog is learning lots of new tricks.
Felix the lid lift was excellent but then you went one better, as always, and combined the opener with the long blade!! That is brilliant!!! I love to put a can of Campbell’s Chunky soup on the fire when I don’t feel like cooking. And every time I forget I’ll need to pick up the can until it already too hot. Then I scramble to find my field gloves... but this... the long blade supporting the opener... brilliant!!!
Mach weiter so. Menschen wie Dich braucht die Welt. 😊😊
Got your you tube from Watching Mike's building cabin out of pellets.I now look forward to seeing everything u got and useing all your tips and tricks. Thanks your amazing your friend From 🇺🇸 USA
Genial!
Tip #4 Felix, tie a shoelace to the key ring have the can opener sort of two thirds open to increase the hooking ability to be able to pick up a dropped bunch of keys that you may have dropped down an inaccessible space you can’t reach with your hand like a road drain...
Great tipps and tricksery for the SAK! Felix is an ingenious outdoor educator and VICTORINOX is a great company with nearly perfect products for everyday carry and everyday use.
Funny to read a younger did not know how to use the can opener! Used them as a young camper till present day, prefer it! Had to teach fellow Soldiers how to use the supplied similar concepted one on Military canned rations...long ago.
@@FelixImmler didnt even see that coming meaning i didnt even think of using the knife as a pot holder and the knocked it out of the park would be baseball lingo like hitting a home run. Breathe fire is a safe blessing like saying take care or be safe
Hello Felix! Thanks for the great tricks! 👌 There would have to be a modified pocket knife by Victorinox. A kind of special edition named after you. That would be a nice gift for Christmas! 🎄 "Victorinox Tips & Tricks Edition by Felix Immler: The TAT Felinox!" 😂
Yet another great video of tips and tricks with the SAK! Thank you again Felix. Your enthusiasm ,voice and infectious smile is a winning combination my friend, don’t change a thing!
This man is on his way to taking over the world with a pocket knife, lol. Lonnie from Far North Bushcraft and Survival was right. You're a magician. Subscribed!
Another great idea. I never use the can opener screw driver so will be doing this modification for spoon work. Also i have sharpened the inside straight edge of the can opener and use it to open boxes and cut tape by pulling it towards me. All the best.
Merci Félix! A good trick I have is to unlock a tie-wrap with the bottom tip of the can opener (the end of the sharp edge). Very usefull becuse you can re-use the tie-wrap.
That was amazing. Especially when I recall in my memory that 12 years ago when I started my military service it took me a while to figured out how to use can opener
One thing I do and have not seen before is hide a sewing needle with thread in the slot under the saw blade. If you use enough thread than the needle sits nice and tight until you need it.
Great tips again Felix. Thanks a lot. I learn something new every week by watching your video's. You make me thinks of tricks for the knife to but there is nothing that I know that you don't until now.
I really like you and your videos Felix, it nice to see a cheerful and friendly face on RU-vid, also the tips are very useful, btw I have subscribed and liked this video.BEST WISHES FROM ENGLAND🏴🇬🇧
That trick with can was awesome. I can't tell how many times i've burned yourself with some wiggling cans. I love all your ideas as well as intros :D greetings from Poland!
There's no bad weather only bad clothing lol but again Awesome tips Felix . I enjoy it every time when I see your "happy"face again on YT Greets Martin..
