Victory Amps brought two new models to the show. The MK Clean is a monster clean machine with loads of headroom, spring reverb, bright switch, and selectable EQ voicings. On the other side, the MK Overdrive is a 3-channel setup with independent gain controls, switchable volume levels, presence, and more. Production begins in March and they will go for around $5k.

I think it's their version of a custom shop, no compromises amp series. Victory still have accessible products that most will buy. They are probably going for the Two Rock and Soldano type players who are happy to dish out $5k, as it means they can choose the colours, speakers, and have an amp that is handwired by the head guy of an established amp company, without any compromises of component quality or build. Us normies shouldn't bother with these types of products. There's massive dimensioned returns past the $2.5k point.

There is 3 of the original cornford MK 50 heads on reverb and two of them are less than half the price

And those are way overpriced too. Andertons sold an MK50 mk2 with a 2x12 cab for £1250 a few months back. My Mk1 Blackface was £850 used from Richtone 18 months ago.

I walked past someone who looked really familiar at NAMM, and I kept thinking "How do I know that guy?". I realize now it was Jason Shadrick, who I have been watching in PG videos for at least a decade. 🤣

I’m so not worried about the price bc I can’t buy any of this stuff anyway. Always interested in tones and features and design though. Send/return reverb…high headroom clean…. …Victory Steel String??? :o

sound GREAT but the CS price is way ott except for the touring PROS! (After a few years they will prob introduce a MIC or MIV model at a commodity price for we plebs!)

If these were $2,000 cheaper I’d consider getting the red one. They really went completely insane at 5K. Victory isn’t an established enough company to do something like this yet. Marshall themselves had a hard enough time selling the Astoria series.

All these people whinging as if they've never seen a boutique amp before. Perhaps check out Dumble or Two-Rock, as a couple of fine examples and compare whatever you like component wise.

Here's a hack. Purchase the amp. Capture the amp in a Kemper. Then after you captured the amp, return the amp to the store before the return date 🤣

I see all the bashing which is shameful. Also very uniformed. Why all the angst. Martin is one of the premier amp designers in the UK if not the world today. He isn't a budget amp builder. He builds great amps at reasonable prices. There's a big difference. He doesn't cut corners. The MK series are completely handwired masterpiece amps which showcases exquisite building prowess. If Two Rock, Bludo, AN, etc can get these prices then Martin can as well as he is certainly in that league. Factor in the shipping cost alone and the price is actually a bit more competitive than the US brands mentioned.

Well, give one to Rabea and Chris Buck for free-have them promote on RU-vid and the orders and financing come in. There are no different parts than regular Victory amps and it’s a clone, wow…. Why not just charge $30,000?

Ridiculous price. $5k just for the head. I just saw a 6 month two rock traditional clean for $$6k inc cab. Victory is Trying to be a two rock. But it’s not. The price for a pcb clone should be about half the price. Who cares if the leather is the same as in The Houses of Parliament. Amps get knocked and used. Ridiculous.

Budget brand? The Silverback and V100, as well as the V50 back then, were between 2500 and 3000 euro's. That's how Victory started. The idea that they started as a budget brand is ridiculous.

Victory has never been a budget brand. They've offered some more affordable lunchbox amps, preamps, and pedals over the last few years, but they've always offered some high end stuff first and foremost.
