The T34-100 passed Kubinka trials and was accepted for production HOWEVER T-54 was also passing trials at this stage; it was simply superior in every way, thus no more T-34-100s were produced. I think we can all agree we'd all like this over a T-54 😅
For new players its good event, but I just wish they introduced a Permanent blue-event order store for when they want to recycle old event rewards. Let's say you get your blue order for playing three event stages then proceed to buy a sword, warmod gewehr, red pps or whatever they want to recycle. Just because that annoying thompson has been on my reserve for 1 year and now I'm forced to get two more haha
Nice rewards. But two major issues. 1. Immersion breaking: Whirlwind with RAF markings in an US marine squad. 2. Would have much preferred the T-44-100 over this one. That would have been an actual upgrade. Most likely it will be a glass cannon like the event BT-7 with the 76 mm gun. But I will grind nevertheless.
It is impossible. T-44-100's hull can't be penetrated by tiger 2, that would make german mains cry, and that would also require an american equivalent (centurion) which would make them cry even more, and if you know anything abot darkflow, it is that they don't like to make german mains cry.
T-44 100?? Mate, you´re reaching for the stars here. That´s downright BR VI material. Apart from it generally being a bad idea to make an event vehicle the best option for a nation I find it hard to believe that you critize the Whirlwind being immersion breaking and then asking for a tank that never saw the frontlines.
Well going by that logic the engineers couldn't even manage to properly fit the 100 mm gun on the T-34's turret. While the T-44-100 was an actually functioning prototype. The former was as they say 'cursed by design'. We are already in a fantasy land as it is.
@@debayanghatak1521 A congruent logic - when it´s already immersion breaking for you that a british plane is used by an american squad - would have been to have asked for an actual historically used tank instead. Otherwise thats like: "It´s immersion breaking to have Jumbos in Normandy as they were introduced a month AFTER the Battle of Normandy was over! Oh.. and when will the Maus finally be available for Berlin?" Both - T-44 100 and T-34 100 were actually build btw.
Its a real pity the whirlwind has only 240 rounds for its 4 20mm cannons. Also I hate the fact that they are not in their own squads, I have to sacrifice my legacy T50 to run the t34-100. They really need to make it so all vehicle squads can run all the vehicles.
T34 100 hull machine gun is removed. Turret armour is ok. But no extra armour to speak of. It has a low profile with good mobility, great aphe and a killer he shell. It will be a great asset to the soviets in rank 5
Not being able to chose which gun to pick is a clear downgrade obviously. In this case it wasn’t even a competition. The PPS 42 is inferior to the PPS 43 on the same BR so you’re sacrificing effectiveness for some color difference.
@@eelislummaa5383 PPS 43 has a RPM of 800 which many regard as optimal. PPS 42 has 690 and a slightly slower reload speed on top of it. In close combat situations this will quite often make the difference between who comes out on top when both start shooting at each other as you can finish off your opponents more quickly. It would apparently have been better to be able to chose which weapons you want to get from this event and trying to sell this as an advantage is weird.
I cant find a t-34 in real life the only thing i can find is the egyptian one there adding unrealistic vehicles in the game is mind boggling let alone the fact the plane spamming is ridiculous dealing with a whirlwind mk1 is bs they remove so much content for the japanese & germans how come we cant even buy gewher automatic kurz anymore or a lanccia flame mod at the least or a jagdpanther but russians & allies still can get a calliope stolen german weapons insane classes for russians still on sale is bs
