Victrix PRO BFG vs DualSense Edge - Which is ACTUALLY Better? 

The BFG is a beast of a controller. It may feel cheap but damn it can get the job done really well. Won so many matches on Apex with the BFG. You can never go wrong with it.

It's lighter because it is missing the rumble and speakers. Also those octagon shaped items are called gates.

BFG removed the haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, gyroscope, and rumble so that the controller had an overall lighter feel to it. FYI you can use the victrix as a second controller, then use your bundled ps5 dual sense as the main controller so if your playing any games like racing games or Astros playground and games like that you can use the bundled dual sense, then victrix when your playing fortnite and cod.

Might have to cop the vix since i turn off all the vibrations and haptic feed back anyways

The only reasons I would buy the Victrix is for the Xbox asymmetric thumbstick placement and the better battery life. I already have the Edge so I can swap when I want the haptics and the adaptive triggers depending on the game.

Im getting more into fighting games the holiday season and was also looking for a pro controller for competitive shooters. Never cared for rumble or adaptive triggers and if i ever do decide to use it its for single player games where ill just use my duelsense anyways. Victrix seems like the best bet to cover the cost of a fight pad and a pro controller in one.

My sentiments exactly on the BFG. I mainly play shooters and did damn well with it in either Xbox or PS layout. My issue was that it just feels cheap in hand despite being only $20-$25 less than the Edge. I loved the 20hr battery life compared to the 6-8 I get on the Edge.

Rn it’s 193 cad and I bet if you wait for a sale it might become even cheaper I might pick one up in like a year or so I’m maining a 8bitdo ultimate rn since I want it for pc but I really miss my dual sense I just never want to deal with stick drift again

Those are called gates for fighting games.

i dont get why weight means premium for a controller that you usually have to support the weight with your arms. i understand if its a fight stick but not a controller.

Actually inhave both i bought the victrix for my wife and the DSE for myself. They both have their pros and cons but to me it's more of option. DSE def feels like the premium Ps5 experience but for getting the best performance the BFG all the way I have been using it more. I originally got it because of the module swap to 360 and fightpad layout and I turn pff speakers and rumble after playing a game for a while amyway so it is perfect for me. I am happy we have the option.

Appreciate the feedback, I mainly play shooters on the Xbox cause of the elite, I was looking at getting sparking zero next month to fuel my itch for fighting games. So I’ll probably get the BFG for that but I like the rumble but I’ll make that sacrifice.

Do they make stick modules to replace in the event of stick drift? The edge has none available except from 3rd party websites and those sites are charging the price of a new controller for one stick module.

I personally find this controller to be great with an exception of the feel of the triggers. Everything else feels solid. Lack of bluetooth kinda sucks but meh.

Dual sense only has 2 paddles and way less features and it’s more expensive, meanwhile the bfg (my controller) has 4 paddles and more features being less money Overall: the victrix is WAYYYYY better

Idk why people think that having a weighty controller is a sign of quality ffs. I don't get. Noone uses rumble in competitive gaming. And the BFG is aim at those players. If you are not the target for the controller don't buy. Period. Idk why I pressed play in this video. Another reviewer with the same mindset

Nice video dude. I’m someone who who wants sound from the controller, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback but i also want the modular buttons because i prefer the xbox analog style haha so i need to weigh up which i’d prefer.

Have both and edge is far better. The main thing i have against the bfg is accidental inputs, its rampid with the bfg.

Facts on it not feeling its value, however it does the JOB 100% for FPS. Coming from an Elite series 2, definitely felt like a downgrade but it was the only one closes to it when I got a ps5.

Hey does the bfg have gyro? I don't see anything regarding that on it's site.

If you play your PS5 like an XBOX , it’s a non-issue lol. No speakers, no rumble, no adaptive triggers and shaped like an xbox controller.

I just bought the victrix and hes not lying about the controller feeling cheap. It’s a bad ass controller but it’s to light and the 4 buttons in the back kinda get in the way
