Recovery of deeply-discharged 'dead' batteries -
Unlike other brands, the Blue Smart IP65 Charger will attempt to recharge a deeply-discharged battery by force-feeding it with a low current. Normal charging will then be resumed as soon as there is sufficient voltage across the battery terminals.

I agree... Victron is the best charger on the market, I have the IP22 12v 30Amp and I really like it. No other brand gets close.

I use other desulfators and there are two types, a voltage burst or a high frequency burst which is far better. I plan to buy an IP65 for my RV lithium batteries.

So you say to desulfate a Red Top Optima to set the charger mode to Normal+Recondition and select 15 amps. Do you leave the voltage set to standard? It is hard to tell what is actually going on because I believe the video shows something different going on.

Curious about the ability to charge 6v batteries with this (you mention at 3:46). I’ve got 2 parallel 6v Optima’s in my 1949 Dodge.

a 12v charger can charge two redtop 6v if in series to make 12v. Connect charger positive lead to one of the two 6v and the neg to the other 6v battery

My battery was getting hot so i stopped. Just before disconnecting the voltage was 17volts so i hope i havent stuffed my battery. Bloody thing...

we feel lfp batteries can sit as long as 9 months plus if there is no load, mfg do not recommend fully charging to 100% in the plan is long term storage, I believe mfg state 79 to 80% soc

Does it work when you have a total of 3 batteries 1 for the engine en 2 together for the household and you put the charger on the side of the alternator of the engine?

Any opinions on the Victron charger compared to a NOCO G15000? I need to charge 12v 270AH liFeP04. I use NOCO gear for my motorbike and all Victron for van solar besides the batts

270 amp hour battery would require a charger with higher amps

whats hte point of bluetooth if it wont let you use a computer? i m tired of devices only wanting mobile"apps" just to steal data

I want to put this charger in my boat to read the battery level from my phone. But I hear the charger has to be plugged into wall to send data. Is that true? That totally defeats the need for bluetooth monitoring right?

Runs WAY too hot. Super dangerous. Is this normal? I will NOT leave mine alone in my camper. This charger is extremely dangerous and expesive.

Took at least twenty tries to bluetooth to my phone.. Absolutely refuses to save the custom charge file.. And has a zero amps at the battery while the phone Says 15 amps. Total POS💩 with 1 button on the top.
