I just never understood why they didnt have a 3 point hitch on these units, not seen one yet so not common maybe? The PTO runs backwards so only IH implements can work on them & I read they've gotten hard to find today? Under powered tractors so tall weed mowing isnt so great at all. In its day they were okay but its 4 cylinder has far less hp than even small riders with 2 cylinders now so a lot of wasted fuel there. Just not the best small tractors honestly speaking.

@@bobinnm3786 No' but my lifelong friend was president and groundkeeper over our local football/soccer fields for many years, later he ran are cities two largest cemeteries too so I used them for yrs. He owned several units including two of these cubs and I helped him out quite often, mainly between employees but at the end of each season when grass slowed down more cause his kids went back to school. Back on 2014 his health caught up with him (bad hips) so climbing up/down and clutching was getting hard for him so he sold off several units including one cub and bought 2 new Scag Zero turns. Fast mowers, Kawasaki water cooled but he kept one LB to move big stuff around like soccer goals, the trees falling after storms and grave stones etc... We never mowed with the Cub again after buying Scags, we removed its deck even. We both like these low boys in the open ball fields that were mowed weekly they did great there but were too big to maneuver in tighter areas. There were some large fields behind the actual ball fields and one behind his home maybe 4 acres combined we mowed just a few times a year. Thats when the cubs struggled and we had to go way slower and/or lift their deck up and make another run. We just never mowed it as low as he normally liked it several times we mowed there. Personally I've been running Wheel Horse tractors for decades as its all I need here. I bought my first one its just 10hp in 1977, it was a used 1976 B100-8 speed model and it still runs perfect today. I had to replace the carb last year, my only issue since buying it 44yrs ago. Just normal wear items like blades, belts tune ups. In 1990 I bought bigger one, its a 1987 414-8 speed tractor. Neither of these tractors have ever been rebuilt, or had a major to date. They run perfect and I mow a bit over 2.5 acres thats very hilly and why I use them instead of hydro tractors. I also till good size garden every spring/fall. Last year I put my gravel driveway in 35x80 ft, just using my small B100-8. It just has a 48" dozer blade but it shocked me how well it performed pushing around dirt and large road gravel like it was nothing. I figured I'd need my 14hp but for chits and giggles tried my 10hp just to see, its manual trans is so low it had no problem at all so I just stayed with it? No wonder most went up north cause snow ain't nothing compared to what I pushed. Sorry got long here-
