Assalamu alaikum! By the will of the Almighty, we performed ruzba in the mosque named after the uncle of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم- Khamzat. In his Friday sermon, Imam Aslan Abdulayev spoke about the terrible harm done to the Muslim Ummah by those who sow discord.

As an example, he cited the story of the righteous caliph Uthman ibn Affan, who was tragically killed because of the turmoil that broke out. The instigator of this conspiracy is called Abdullah ibn Saba, who sowed confusion by spreading misinformation and distorted facts about Uthman ibn Affan. As a result of this conspiracy, the third righteous caliph was brutally murdered by troublemakers.

Abdulayev noted that in our time there are certain handfuls of troublemakers who are trying to sow discord in the Muslim Ummah through all sorts of misinformation. Therefore, every conscientious believer must double-check the facts before acting. May Allah Almighty protect us from confusion, lies and deceit!
