Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters!
Allah Almighty, in His infinite wisdom, has exalted some times above others. Thus, in the Holy Qur'an, He says: "I swear by ten nights!" The interpreters of the Qur'an say that they mean the ten nights of the lunar month of Dhul-Hijjah. Tomorrow is the first day of this month, and today His first night came.
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Of all the days when righteous deeds are done, Allah loves the most (doing them) on these days." He was referring to the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah.
Now each of us needs to strengthen our faith, correct our relationship with the Lord of the worlds, cleanse our souls of ailments, and adorn our hearts with commendable qualities. This is the very point that we must use for these purposes. Strive for good deeds, help to brothers and sisters in faith, the blessing of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), reading the Quran and praying for our soldiers who defend their native land far from it.
May Allah Almighty answer our du'a, accept our prayers and every good deed we have done or intend to do!
