Federal Government should allow every states that has cement to produce, if there is a competitive in production the price will go down to N2000 without any hesitation

Exactly. Empowering Dangote alone is a taboo. It should be a competitive market. But now Dangote is using us in making billions every week. Dangote want to kill us in Nigeria. We need to speak out.

What are the various state governments doing? As long as their is high demand for cement, the price will continually be on the rise. I bought for #4,700 in Benin city in December 2021. Let the monopoly in the industry be removed. State governments should get involved and make life easier for the people.

It's deliberately created monopoly by d fulanis they killed all our industries to divert everything to dangote may be he should start eating his cement nobody check d quality of what he throws in the consumers market wether it will kill us or not his salt doesn't dissolve for months in water

No one can speak for the poor, the ruler's are already useless because they only care about their pocket and their family. They don't care if the masses are suffering that is why they won't build a standard hospital in Nigeria but will still be going overseas for treatment. Tinubu has gone already. They said he made Lagos what it is today, Lagos is a mega city. And he couldn't build a standard 6 star hospital in Lagos that even the poor and rich can go? They are all criminals.

Cement is locally manufactured, there is no shipment and import duty on it, so why should dollar determine the cost of cement? Dangote cement is cheaper in the countries he export to, why? They should stop the monopolisation of the cement from Dangote.... it shall not be well with whoever sold Okpila cement factory to Dangote.

Hahaha, I'm laughing at those jumping up and down in jubilation that Dangote refinery will soon be operational, if this happens Nigerians will be dead alive. The problem with cement is Dangote, Dangote is a bad luck to Nigeria because he is a selfish and heartless person, he is wicked. If Dangote refinery be comes operational, he will dominate the market and even go as far as being the one to fix the price of fual pump and by then you guys will buy fuel 1000 Naira. Nigerians should rise up against Dangote now, things are getting out of hand.

PDP president Olusegun Obasanjo, led FGN that monopolized cement production and price fixing of per bag of cement to Aliko Dangote, which was N600 Naira per bag before FGN monopolized cement market to Aliko Dangote, who unilaterally increases cement per bag to enrich himself. U guys should understand dat power is improving everyday...I get over 22hrs light daily where I stay and many other areas are getting more power now; so there is no justification for continues increase in price of cement. So also are d roads,most FG roads are getting fixed already.

What was the cost of cement before this administration? $1400. Look at how backward we have been just within 6 years of atrocious government! What about food! Prices of food items has increased by 300% between 2015 and 2022. Local rice from ₦4500 to ₦26,000. That's I've 600%. Cement is a Northern product. Buhari's administration won't complain. There is opportunity to remedy this situation next year. If you guys miss it....!?
