5700G. Seems it has tonnes of headroom left untapped. 5700G has Vega GPU core which is supported by Premiere Pro, but only the Pro version in Mac Metal. I bet if Adobe enables support for Vega in Windows OpenCL then this test will have a completely different outcome. Kudos for the informative video.

5700g. When you want to expand your business you can use the 5700g in one the of ASRock Rack Motherboards for a low cost, quiet, and, depending on how you set up your ZFS, blazing fast video editing server multiple people can work off of. IPMI, Dual 10gbe, ECC, built in.

To me AMD is winning by far. In Japan 7 5700G = 48,0000 yen with cooler and i9 11900k is 80,000 yen. Enough money left to add a nice graphic card for AMD.

Great video. Very detailed and informative. Would fitting a 5700G in a Streacom FC8 power-limiting the CPU at 65 watts be good for video editting and stream capturing from an external source? Would the Intel I9 be better for that? (h264 codec)

Very good video. I was wondering how realistic editing would be on a 5700g. I was surprised by the conclusion though. All through the video it seemed like AMD was smoother, with fewer dropped frames in almost every example and without those artifacts mentioned on intel. All while using less watts and less cpu/gpu load. So it seemed odd to hear you pick Intel in the end.

Hey im panning on doing heavy 1080p editing for youtube can i do it on a 1650 laptop? I have 2 options either a zephreyes g14 5800h 1650 or acer nitro 5 3050 5800h the zephrus has a 100 srgb screen wheareas the later has 66 srgb screen and the zephrus is a way better laptop in every thing except the gpu so i prefer the zephrus but if heavy 1080p editing requires more than a 1650 ill but the acer also i am willing to drop down playback resolution.

My concern is without a GPU I don't know if I'll drop FPS when I screen record and I've had that issue with my current laptop. Hello, is Ryzen 7 5700g still a good option for a budget PC at the end of 2023 for photo processing and simple video editing? Intel has quicksync, but AMD has OpenCL acceleration, that might utilize better the iGPU. P.D. Those "artifacts" is called "tearing" that happens when the hardware can't decode as fast as the video image, so there's a bit of lag between them.

I really wish Adobe would take advantage of AMD, i mean, i get it, more people have Intel so its better to target intel, but if independant developers find it easier, and cheaper to work with AMD, why not put a small team on integrating VCE Also, VCE needs more features, so that might be why they're not leveraging it as heavily as QSV, though other software doesnt seem to struggle with AMD

Agora é aguardar chegar e ver a diferença.

Fala Robson! Como está sendo a experiência?
@HiTechBR
@HiTechBR 2 года назад
@@bodeex , tudo bem?

Bacana.

I just caught on to this channel and have watch a number of video.......One of the few channels dedicated to content creation rather than gaming. I really am enjoying the information presented. But there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of people out there still shooting 1080p in h.264 using a flat profile. So that means in post, they add in contrast, saturation and sharpness......all of can significantly effect both timeline playback, scrubbing and final rendering. This video just doesn't address any of those issue, unfortunately. So, I would really like to see a video comparing the 3700X (which is getting more and more difficult to find in stock these days), the 5600X and the 5800X compete against each other with an nVidia 1070, 2070 and 3070 for 1080p h.264 footage shot in flat profile with saturation, contrast and sharpness added back in post for timeline playback, scrubbing and rendering times. Heck, throw in the 5700G for comparison. From what I have seen, from a variety of sources, the 5600 is the slowest, but the 3700x is only about 10 percent slower than the 5800X which costs a whopping 33% plus more than the 3700X, plus it doesn't even come with a CPU cooler. But I have never seen a good video were they compare all three CPU's together with the same footage and the same fx added back in (for flat profile) at 1080p Yes, a lot of people do shoot 4K these days, but there are still a ton of people out there with 1080p cameras out there.....the entire Canon rebel line and even many of their full frame cameras.

Yes, coz your GPU can't accelerate everything, it depends what you do it goes up when it can accelerated your codecs (effects) workflow.

I edited all my 3 channel videos with Ryzen 3 3200G with no dedicated GPU!!! It's hard but not impossible. 16 GB ram and above is the main key for these type of CPUs. Thanks for this comparison.

More or less the same here... Doing edits for my school on a Lenovo Tiny mini PC with a Ryzen 5 PRO 3400GE using Sony ZV-E10 8 bit 4k footage. I get 0 frames dropped in full res with an adjustment layer for color/looks. Vega 11 also supports hardware accelerated encoding! It starts acting up with playback speed adjusts, complex motion graphics and some effects though.

Wait a minute !!! what a untenable "test".......hes just checking playback....thats all.....theres no color grade or fx or filters or anything.....not even sound fx and any overlays or text NOTHING......just the footage dropped on the timeline, one single track... and played back. My i3 (6100) plays this back without a single dropped frame.....hell it played back 2 DCI 4K 100mbps files simultaneously overlapped without a single frame drop ....NO DGPU.... ofcourse media drives were all SSD. But what a joke of a test. In the real world u would just drop a clip on the timeline and playback and smile and go for render ? No wonder he never replies to logical questions from viewers posted in the comments section.
