I think Rose is actually getting buried when she's in this flowery scene, she sort of gets lowered down into the flowers while she's in a classic princess coffin pose (hands on chest). Her haters maybe thinking they ended her... Then she's underground but she's not dead as she sings 'you should have ended me when you had the chance', puts on her balaclava ready to go end her haters. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this (because I haven't seen anyone mention it before) But I think I might have a good theory here...

U kept saying it's meaningless only because metaphorical sentences didn't work well with you. So here's from the Superman cartoon movie or to any movie about Superman, it's an iconic opening song, "IT'S A BIRD IT'S A PLANE IT'S A SUPERMAN" meant for a strong unbreakable man. So if u aren't familiar with this line you better search it. BASICALLY THAT LINE IS A HIDDEN LOST TREASURE ON AN ISLAND. Delve deeper, BLACKPINK is soaring high just like SUPERMAN.

This MV is about being trapped by music industry. Isn't a cocoon, it's a statue from Louvre named Nike of Samothrace. It represents victory but the statue isn't complete in the video. She doesn't have legs because she "can't walk on her own" . She doesn't have arms because she "can't defend herself" . She has no head because she can't "think or command" . The original wings were removed and replaced by black wings, representing the industry. Why we liked that? Don't know too.

Hearing Jordan explain "Trojan horses" at 11:26 was great (I majored in Latin and Ancient History in college and am now a software engineer so love a chance to feel geeked out about that stuff again). A completely non-pretentious FYI that there was only one Trojan horse in the way Jordan described, and it was used by the Greeks to defeat the Trojans in the "mythical" Trojan War. It was designed by Odysseus (of Homer's famous Odyssey) and was intended to appear as a gift to the sea god Poseidon by Greeks, who appeared to have sailed away from the beaches they had been camped on for 10 long years, unable to penetrate the Wall of Troy. The Trojans brought the "gift" - the horse - inside the city walls, not knowing it contained a small number of soldiers. The soldiers then escaped from the horse's belly in the middle of the night and opened the gates of Troy from the inside, allowing the Greek army to come in under the cover of darkness and decimate the city. The Odyssey is the story of Odysseus' journey home to his wife Penelope after the sack of Troy, which took another 10 long years.
