I don't wanna be that person, but I think the "blue" scenes are shot in blacklight rather than inverted. Looking at the color of the skin and clothes, they would prob look a lot funkier if they were actually inverted. Just my speculation.
Yep! According to the director Colin Tilley, he wanted to try something different that hadn't been see before. So he used giant black lights and white clothes!
