Can you start posting videos of you like actually playing the games? It be REALLY cool to see you play a bunch of these random games, and I’m not demanding I just think it’d be cool. Also you’d probably get a ton of views with those as well, AND you have like a bazillion games so you’d have infinite content. 😃
@@muk2626 It is! There are filters hidden on every level you can collect and switch between when using the camera. Once you find a filter, it's useable on any level.
Yeah there’s not much I can do. They are a bigger channel and get way more views so it’s kind of like David vs Goliath lol. Oh, and they also have the most clickbaiting thumbnails of all time.
@nEggcellentthey do, also i hate when people just rip off other people content and i wish yt can be more serious of people stealing content. Your the goat of easter eggs of video games and are the only channel i watch of them XD (besides oddheader)
I was looking for another easter egg channel and got them recommended for me. Subbed to them. Then later realized they just took stuff from you. Also, I'm tired of clickbaits and that pitch pattern of their narration. Unsubbed from them after some time.
You know, Matpat isn’t the only RU-vidr reference in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, you can also find a reference to music RU-vidr CG5, who wrote a song for the game. How nice 😊
I dont watch many easter egg channels but I always come back to this one, it's so nice not having the "WOW!! HOW CRAZY!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??" In your ears all the time
It's something to see them add that for MatPat. Also took him "forever" to find as he, somehow, skipped it. (Which is something since he tends to look at nearly everything thing😂)
Funny enough, he does that a lot. In actual live streams, he used to take at minimum 5 minutes to notice something that the chat was yelling at him about.
In case people and @Captain Eggcellent didn't know but Neversoft were going to be making a Call of Duty during the Ghosts/Futureistic era of CoD called NX1 and I advise you to look into it as its has such intresting protental and sad that it never came though even more so that they were quite far into production before being shutdown.
The clap and a half thing he says alot more than just one in all these years, but still a great detail. Pretty funny that out of all things that was the one thing mat missed
9:12 this just reminds me how close we are to March which is when MatPat will truly retire. I'm going to miss him but I'm also happy that he's doing it to spend more time with his family.
That neversoft detail was so cool, and I had no idea that the company was no more, sad to see. Backrooms looks like the next runner up for over used easter eggs
In house flipper 2 there's a portal reference I just found! In the forest cabin house you can buy if you go to the basement and break a certain wall you'll find it. It may be an overused Easter egg but it's used well.
I'm not sure if you've already covered it before, but in the game "Return to Grace", there's a reference to "Demolition Man" where a lavatory space has the 3 sea shells
Not sure if this is an Easter egg, but whatever. In My Singing Monsters, there is a monster called Nitebear, which has multiple references to FNaF in it's bio and the way it looks might be a reference as well.
In AC Valhalla, you can find a fight club easter egg south of Wenloch Abbey in Ledecestrescire. You walk into a basement with many people fighting, and you fight Edward of Lincoln. This is a reference to Edward Norton.
Easter Egg suggestion: In the game "The Sinking City", if one explores the downstairs (basement) of the "Asylum" on the East-Coast/Eastern side of the map - Eastern Coverside, on "Seaside St" specifically, they can find a collectible item inside a locker that can then be found in the "LORE" tab of the menu. The collectible is an "Indecent Poster" with the following description - referencing older Metal Gear Solid games, and Snake directly: "Someone had an indecent poster in the locker. Reminds of old Snake's shenanigans. Damn, I miss the guy." The grammar mistake "Reminds of" is accurate to the description, but the reference is clearly toward Snake being able to hide in lockers that had a pin-up model poster on the doors.
Even the fact that he's a farmer missing a leg & just casually dying reminds me of Twenty One Pilots. Specifically, the House of Gold video. Is there a dead guy next to a truck in that game by any chance?
It's getting to the point where you might need to start adding The Backrooms to your overused video game Easter egg of the week segment. They're everywhere these days it feels like
Cod ghosts is my favorite cod because of the extinction mode alone i love running around blasting aliens its a proper challenge and its not pointless like alot of the endless waves of zombies in other cods i might have to grab it up again
From the blood and bacon entries, they seem to have an order as the one in this video goes before the one on the previus mention of the game easter egg
In Ark: Survival Evolved/Survival Ascended, there is a giant fish called Leedsicthys. Its alpha form appears as a giant white fish. If you kill it, it will drop a captain's hat skin with the flavor text "Found deep within the belly of a great white beast, this hat is all that remains of the last brave soul that tried to slay the creature." This is reference to Moby Dick, in which Captain Ahab is killed by the white whale
German here: you are not quite right about Hensel und Gretel and the witch that built the house of candy to attract them.. in the tale of Hensel and Gretel their parents were too poor to feed the children and left them in the forrest to die. There, the siblings found the home of the witch that tortured them and made the two kids her slaves. But the two kids killed the witch by trapping her in the oven and burned her alive. sry for bad englisch meine Freunde :)
That camera horror game seems interesting, but it's a shame it spoils and ruins it by stright up telling you the game. I want to see more horror games that are just exploring around finding spooky stuff, but not knowing if it could harm me or do something else adds to the scare, it would be praised for not doing it like people talk about the haunted house in vampire masquerade.
i think you might enjoy INFRA. it is an urban exploration type game with a bunch of random weird stuff hidden in and outside of the levels. some of the secrets have to do with the story, others dont.
@@CaptainEggcellent oh thats awesome. Im not going to lie, i suggested it because i am a huge shill for that game and how atmospheric it is. Hope you are enjoying it!
Neversoft are also the developers of the original open world western epic Gun, probably the inspiration for Red Dead Redemption i so hope they do a remake
hey, I have a really cool easter egg. in the DLC for Pokemon Scarlet (maybe Violet too but I only play Scarlet) is the easter egg. after going to the terrarium the first biome you find yourself in is the savana biome. this area has the easter egg. find a vaguely familiar rock shape closer to the canyon biome and look up from in front of it. there will be a particular Pokemon there. I thought it was really cool and caught said pokemon only for another to take its place. I hope this shows up in one of your next easter eggs.
There’s an game called rain on your parade that I just started playing and it already has Easter eggs like csgo and frogger and I think that game would be interesting to be in this
Hello Captain. Long time fan, but took a hiatus from watching for about half a year. Slowly making up for it. Your videos are edited so well. The clips you use and the way that you use them often have a pace. In response to your fortnite easter egg in this video, have you already covered the graffiti in various counterstrike maps? Wild history is told in that paint
In turnip boy robs a bank btw you got me hooked and i ended up getting 100%, anyways in the sewer level you can find a blueberry that says hes suprised that his friend dissapeared through a wall upon inspecting the wall you can find a particular rooms and upon taking a photo and trying to leave youll be jumpscared (you will lose your stuff and die), this is a refrence to the backrooms.
It happens in sands of time, warrior within and the two thrones. Basically the prince is also the narrator of the game, you'll notice that whenever you die in game he says "wait that's not how it happened" or "I'll continue from here next time" when you save your game
