I never buy a game for over $15 unless I’m buying it on trade credit. I actually picked up a bunch more when I went home to my parents house one weekend. unfortunately, I did not shoot any more video of it.
Thanks for the disclaimer on when it was recorded haha! I saw the video and I thought, this is probably an old recording because I remembered this happening last fall. Wonder how many people will still be hitting up their local Family Dollar today! ;)
Yeah, I was kind of reluctant to release this video just because it’s so outdated but as long as people followed my social media, they knew about it when it happened
The only problem with the 3DS Theatrerhythm FF that you probably noticed in the last few months was just how many damn DLC songs there were. I think it had over $100 of DLC I did not buy since they now have a PS4 game on a more stable platform.
@@CincyGameHunting Yeah last August I went through and bought all the DLC for my 3DS games I hadn't already bought except for Theatrhythm b/c of how much there was.
I wonder where Family Dollar is getting their stock from. I noticed, a lot of those games were not new. They were shrink wrapped but had a sticker on the back showing they were used.
There was a time when a couple different stores decided to get into the used game market and I know Walmart and Best Buy used to take trade ins but they eventually stopped since most things people trade in are junk that never gets sold plus the actual trade-in process was slow. I imagine at least Walmart unloaded a bunch of that stuff to these stores.
Yeah, unfortunately this was from last year but I definitely posted it on social media when it was going on. I have a couple of videos that I shot and never got around to putting together.
Yeah, unfortunately this video is kind of dated. I made sure to post about this on Instagram and Twitter when it happened back in August. I think most of the family dollar stores have been pretty well picked over by now. But it couldn’t hurt to look.
Most probably have been pretty well picked over. It’s definitely worth checking though especially if you live in an area that isn’t heavily populated. I still come across a random game from time to time.
Can’t really get much better than that. Though the games were preowned. There was a sticker on the back saying that. They were just re-shrink wrapped and put out. The sticker kind of reminded me of the one they used to use at Meijer for their pre-owned games.
