1:19:17 RIGGED! That was actually "The Edge of Dawn (Seasons of Warfare version)", as the regular "Edge of Dawn" is a different version of the song, specifically the one that plays during the credits. I need to go touch some grass...
If you're a fan of the Sonic 3D Blast Saturn OST you might like this. It's basically a vocal remake of Green Grove Zone Act 1. It's by the same composer, Richard Jacques, and you may recognize the singer from Sonic R, TJ Davis. Sonic R was also composed by Jacques.
I did exceptionally poor this time around. I feel like the more of these that come out, the more obscure or severely recent the selections get, and those are my weaknesses, lol! Still just as fun as ever though!
To be totally fair, this is the championship round where I intentionally increase the difficulty. Every other round won't be nearly as hard as the ones where 3 winners are duking it out.
@@TarvouldsQuest one thing I found funny was that I didn't get the FE Three Houses one.. I did 4 playthroughs of that game. Put like 280 hours into it, and I didn't recognize that one AT ALL. 🤣
Awesome show, love how long these videos are too. You've obviously put a lot of thought and effort into every aspect of these episodes, respect and appreciate it
I'm at the round with 4 songs, u're about to reveal the theme, and I wanna take a guess: You used a shirt of each of those games in the previous 3 Music Trivia videos? (+ Shadow in this one, which is why I'm guessing it)
I love this show! Always a great time trying to play along (and quickly falling behind the professionals lol). I can’t help but wonder if it would be better not to penalize for incorrect guesses though? I feel like it’s more entertaining for people to through out their best guess and not fear being docked a point for intuition. It’s your show though, so do what you think is best! I’ll be here to play along no matter what.
I've put a lot of thought into this actually, and I feel it always comes back to the fact that it's kind of a necessary evil for a few reasons. 1. These episodes are already quite long, in fact in the next season I think they will need to be trimmed down. And if people had as many guesses as they wanted with no penalty it would make moving onto the next song even slower than it is now. Even if everyone got one guess, that's potentially 3 people mulling over a single song. 2. I like the comeback potential and the risk/reward aspect of it. Though I don't ever want the risk to be greater than the reward, which is why despite however many points a question is worth the most I'll ever dock you is -1 (unless its a 1/3 multiple choice of course). Run aways still happen, but to see the leader suddenly lose a point can make things interesting, and give a spark of hope for those who are trailing behind. 3. I don't want the entire game to devolve solely into buzzer spam. This is the reason I keep the negative points the most. If there is no penalty to buzzing and guessing, there's nothing stopping players from mashing the buzzer button as SOON as the song starts, then deciding later if they know it or not. You can even see my brain click on at a point during this episode, in that I realized when Liam was buzzing in fast and passing that I may need to change the rules around this, or the entire meta would just be "Buzz in as fast as humanly possible, pass if you dont know it, guess if you do." I want the game to be decided by your knowledge, nostalgia and memories. Not by spamming the buzzer as fast as humanly possible. I think a world with that meta would look and feel kinda blegh. So the penalty prevents players from doing this, at least for now! I remove this rule in the Bonus Patreon round however, for two reasons. 1. I have no creative control over it, so they could be anywhere between crazy difficult or super easy. and 2. I love my supporters, and I think it's fun for them to see the guests shoot from the hip and try to guess their picks. Hope this made things a bit clearer where I'm coming from, loved your comment though and it really made me think and put to words stuff I've thought about behind the scenes!
Sorry, none of them really made me squirm this time - I either knew them or I didn't. :P I do feel a bit bad that I missed the Chocobo theme, though, 'cuz that particular game has some *excellent* arrangements in it - the Chocobo one included! Nice picks, all around. My own total score this time was about 56 without accounting for buzzers, 38 accounting for them. The quotes round was my weakness. :P Maybe I'll have to go do a little something productive before I start playing on Season 2. It's just so fun to follow along with, though...!
You guys are killing me. Crush 40 is absolute fire and if they are butt rock then Ozzy is butt rock. What does that term mean anyway. You guys make it sound like its White Lion or something, lol! And didn't you say in another episode you would take Johnny over Ian Gillian of Deep Purple and day? Are you guys seriously going to try to say Jun Senoue is lacking in compostitonal abilty and musicianship? And Johnny Gioelu is probably the mosy underrated rock singer of all time. Stop using memes to (mis)label bands
Going to be honest, the only theme I got quick was the first one. The other ones were some dirty tricks lmao. Especially the second one. I got it on the third song
@@TarvouldsQuest thanks a lot for taking the time to reply. I am really enjoying this series that I just discovered. I'm looking forward to watch all of your videos now.
