killstreak789 Isn't it just great that everyone knows she's a fraud yet she's still getting paid in the millions while while some who are masters of an art can barely make ends meet?
The whole symphony was magnificent. Especially loved the Halo one. I asked for a Halo song in the last video game symphony and I loved that you put one in, whether you had read my comment or not. :D
Piglteria this is true but its the only brass instrument I played. I have no basis for comparison :P I just play the piano alone in my basement like everyone else :P
Piglteria I would find that difficult :P I played piano since I was six so I get how music works as a whole so learning instruments isnt too difficult. Just no time these days lol. remember being a kid when you had all the time in the world to just go at it and see what happens?
Christopher Bill Hahah I don't even play any video games and this is AMAZING. I've been a long time fan but for some reason hadn't subscribed until this morning, so now gotta catch up on all your amazing videos! I was thinking about quitting tbone, but after watching these videos, THATS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. Thank youuuu for being awesome.
It's a shame your done with the Video Game symphonies. I would have like to have heard more Halo and and maybe Smash Bros. Oh well. All three were fantastic. It's funny how before you made these to celebrate the 4,000 marks in your subscribers and now you've got almost 70,000. That would have been a lot of symphonies.
I don't think I've ever spent so much time sitting around listening to trombone. Absolutely phenomenal work. Every upload is outstanding! Keep up the good work!
I wish youtube had existed when I was in middle school, just starting on trombone myself. As amazing as I think his videos are now, (from an experienced musician's viewpoint), I would have been absolutely blown away back in the day.
Dude, this is amazing!!!! My jaw dropped several times. Especially at 5:38, that gliss is awesome!!!! It would be awesome if you did a cover of any Mumford and Sons song. Anything like I Will Wait, The Cave, Broken Crown, etc.
favorite part of this entire thing was Super Mario Galaxy theme! Made me cry in joy because of all the memories I had on Wii before I went to XBOX :'D.
I have two questions: What is your advice on improving my double tonguing and what kind of mouth piece do you have? I have a 51D that I use for euphonium but it sounds really hollow and empty on trombone. Maybe it's just me, not sure... Thanks!
Great Job!!!! I love that. Maybe a VideoGame symphony IV for thhe 9000 suscribers? with Oblivion, Zelda Ocarina of Time, or what do you want. Thanks for your music!
Christopher - thanks for sharing your talent. I love gaming and the trombone, so this is totally fun. I love the Battlefield piece (great choice) and of course Halo. I've always wanted to record multi-part trombone/brass pieces, but wasn't sure where to get started. Can you share a basic equipment list for multi-track recording that you use? I guess the microphone for a trombone would be the most important part!
i love these because there not music from dickrider popular games that suck but instead of awesome games with awesome music that no one knows about in the real world like wtf. i love your talent though
If you ever do another video game symphony, could you please play SuperStickmanGolf? If you haven't heard of it, it's an app. I like ALL the 8-bit style songs on it.
A great improvement from your earlier two symphonies. Crisper sound, cleaner runs, and a beautiful tone quality. My only irritation here is in Megaman 2 intro theme. Although, the performance of Flash Man's theme made up for it entirely.
Christopher Bill, if you play the Dr. Wily Stage theme from Mega Man 2, you will officially have covered one of the best songs from video games of all time!!
I like your playing a bunch. what 3 horns are you playing on? I'm a bass bone player myself, but I also use a conn peashooter to play jazz sometimes. also did you transcribe and then arrange all these yourself? or did you use some books or online sheet music for reference?
Groose's theme just made me want to facepalm because I remembered all of the embarrassingly stupid things he did. Great work on this arrangement as well as the others. I used to play the Trombone myself, but unfortunately I was stopped playing after several years.
I've heard some great trombone players but dang. You're really good at that instrument. And thank you for putting some of the music up for free to download, it'll give me stuff to practice and play for fun
Dude you Make me proud to be a Bone I Love your style and its nice to c good trombone music. I am part of the Huntsville Military Marching Band and I wanna be as good as you.
Thanks to my add on of braces…now I can't play high notes with out it being so airy…all I know is that when they get taken off I will have a 9000+ better tone quality
