VIDEO: Geneva-On-The-Lake Offers Something For Eveyone Nearby 

Thanks for a taste of GOTL. Looks like a real nice town. Friends have vacationed there for years, but we've never had an opportunity. Maybe 2021.

My beautiful wife, Cathy Jones (You probably would remember her as Cathy Dubsky) was raised there. We love to go back there to see her brother Phil and his wife Sheila. Cathy worked at Go Bingo when she was a kid. I lived in North Kingsville down the road aways. Capo's Pizza and Madsen Donuts are excellent. It's a beautiful place to go back to from May through September.

Lame. It is as fun as watching paint dry. Next week, on GOTL is "Watch your grass grow week". Bring the family...lol

spent the 1960's summers here---great memories

I live very close to GOTL, and go there all the time. I've always said that if the town and businesses were to invest a little money in cleaning up the "grunge factor", they could make this so much more. The Geneva Lodge is certainly doing its part with the installation of 24 new housing units (just south of that path you see them talking about in this video). It's "The Strip" area that needs some dressing up (imho). There's a new "Craft Brewery" towards the end of the strip, close to Geneva Twp. Park which just opened, and I'll have to check out. IMHO, this area is definitely trending in the right direction, but it still has a way to go to make it "all it can be". I suggest you come out and check it out yourself, and make it a point to check out "Eddie's Grill" (as shown in this video). You can tell the food is good there by the number of patrons! (full disclosure: I am NOT connected to the city of GOTL or to any of its many establishments .. just a "local" offering my opinion)
