My thing is, didn’t they notice she didn’t get her period? Did she not? I’ve cared for members with TBI and of you do their personal care, I’d figure you’d notice they didn’t get a period for 9 months.
Yes the staff were grossly neglegent. Did the relatives visit her in the previously months and if so didn't they notice the bulge? Sounds like all parties were neglecting her.
I imagine the parents were told it was a "mass" like they suggested. As of the court case the parents visitations and doctors notes will be sealed and used in the hearings.

Not Bothered Her family lives about 160 + miles from the facility on a Reservation, they visited every couple weeks and are the ones caring for th babyboy.
If there was a chance for an abdominal tumor should she not have had at least a sonogram? That would have revealed her pregnancy. Even a baby that does not move much will show especially in a small frame of 115 pounds. There is just not enough body mass to hide it. The baby must have had a normal weight or they would have kept it in the ICU.
OK Dr. So her bowel surgery formed a mass, and the meds she was on made the baby appear sullen. Next: the pregnancy was her fault bcos it was consensual ???
Did they pay you off doctor? Why try to justify the fact that staff was not doing routine assessments. Could be mistaken for an abdominal tumor; then why is there no documentation of this either?
Did you watch the whole segment? At 2:25 he says there's no excuse for them to not know she was pregnant because they should have done an image on the mass. It's pretty evident this woman was receiving substandard care.

If she's been in a vegetative state for 23 years, the only reason she's still lingering on the machine is because she's getting government assistance, otherwise if the family was responsible for all her medical bills, they would pull the plug, also, it's extremely cruel and inhumane to keep her alive!!!
@@browneyedgirl4285 She can have a brain injury but not be brain DEAD. She breathed on her own and was fed through a feeding tube. A patient in a vegative state can live for years. She nearly drowned at the age of three. Basically she was like a infant if you will.
That's so stupid. What was the staff doing never checking that woman because she was in a coma . That baby belongs to one of that stupid staff it sure makes you wonder what kind of place that really is...
I love how everyone all of a sudden becomes an expert on something. Yes they should have done more to see what the bulge is but if a nurse is told that it was checked out by a doctor than what are the suppose to do. And medications have an effect on menstrual cycles, it depends on the meds. Also some women do not show to the very end and sometimes not at all so I would like to know exactly when they seemed to notice the bulge in her stomach. Yes this place is beyond negligent, that place is a criminal Enterprise from top to bottom. The poor woman was violated for who knows how long without being helped to the point of her having to give birth to her rapist child, I could imagine not being able to say or do anything while I'm being violated and still can't speak up after the fact🤦. It's a damn shame literally no one around her was there to protect her, I hope at least now she has the right people looking out for her.
Her family might have received a big settlement from her near drowning. And they put her in the cheapest facility while they lived their best lives spending that MONEY!

So, basically, she got shitty, half assed medical care her entire life. Was addicted to sedatives under the guise of seizure control, operated on for "bowel obstruction" when the constipation, and subsequent "obstruction" was likely caused by a combination of meds and immobility. Basically she was EXTREMELY POORLY CARED FOR for DECADES!!!! Then she was repeatedly RAPED! Unfortunately, this is NOT rare, or unusual. If you're still in the dark about "how this can happen" you're living under a rock.
What about the family???do they even touch her sometimes or she was just like a vegetal literally to them ,maybe I'm wrong but who keep a human living in this conditions for that log if we can call that living ...poor Angel she do not belong in this disgusting 🌎 😢
