I grew up in NY and Trump helping black leaders get their projects off the ground and backing them financially was normal. When he decided to run in 2015 as the dreaded 'R'? They abandoned him like rats leaving a sinking ship. I say too bad for them.

Brandon I disagree.We shouldn't be paying for other countries wars and we shouldn't have to pay for other peoples "education" you took out that loan. Be an adult and pay your bills. Don't make everyone else who chose not to take out a loan and go to college or make the others who did and paid theirs off have to pay for yours too. We are 34 trillion in debt we need to be cutting cost where we can. Not paying off peoples student debt or paying for another country war or anything like that. I've been paying since around 2003, borrowed just under 13k, paid over 16k back already, and still owe just under 5k. Nothing for me has been canceled.

The rainbow back then was mainly inclusive of all races and colors of people working together. It wasn't about sex or sexual preference. The gay community in San Fran for example used the root of that idea and molded it to their use and interpretation. They are trying to mix the two ideas of color and sex on the LGBTQ flag where you have black and brown as if all blacks and brown people are accepting of their beliefs. Another thing to notice back then trump was friends with the Clintons and contributed to the party. Now that he doesn't agree with them they want blood. Trump was NY, now look at it. I worked for almost 15years to pay mine off and it was a very happy day. I took responsibility and kept the promises I made when I signed notes for the loans I received. Today’s students should also be held accountable for their commitments made. The other reason, and you will soon understand, is that this “forgiveness” is nothing more than a transfer of responsibility from the people who actually took the loans to you and me! WE will be paying off THEIR loans. Taxes will be going up (the laws have already been passed) and now WE will be giving more of OUR money to the fed so they can misuse more of our money and rob us of opportunities as our budgets plummet. Take a look at your budget. How much are you able/willing to give away?
