This was the 2nd transformers toy i ever got, I still have him and love him dearly

i treasured this figure as a kid since there were alot of features. unfortunately i dont know where it went. amazing figure

It’s called a concept Camaro, because the one featured in the films, all the films 1-3 were still concepts. Even though there were production cars at the time the ones featured in the film were different however slightly than the production cars, still different enough to be called concepts. Because the figures are based off the cars from the movies and not the ones driving around on the streets and licensing from Chevy, they probably told to call them the concept Camaro for the toy lines.

Transformers Logic : Took us a few minutes to transform the toy from Robot Form to Vehicle Form / Vehicle Form to Robot Form. Took the real Transformers 3 seconds of awesomeness to transform from Robot Form to Vehicle Form / Vehicle Form to Robot Form.

I believe it's still referred to as the 'Camaro Concept Mode' because the design of the Bumblebee Camaro from ROTF is the potential concept version of the not-yet-released (if ever) 5th gen Z28 Camaro. I own a 2010 camaro and I assure you that both the front grille (esp. the lower fog light area) and the hood (with a much larger scoop on the movie car) on my car are different than on the Bumblebee Camaro Concept from ROTF. This looks better than Studio Series figures in some ways IMO.

The new head, when you held it off the body reminded me of Skeletor from The New Adventures of He-Man... great fig.

My dad Bought me one like 7 years ago When he was in England i have it this date but it doesnt have doors and battle axe :D

I used to have one, and the doors broke, so I got a new one, and did what Peaugh did to modify it by replacing the blade with the canon from the old one and it got rid if the blade problem.

His transformation is not what I'd call "simple", but it's a fun one! I got him a week ago, and I must say he's awesome! The battleblade is goofy, though, and you can't take it apart or flip it, because most of the important bits are molded on... Still it's a verrrrrrrrrrrrry good figure. I'm thinking about repainting some of the car details just a tiny bit!

This thing is going for over $100 on amazon!At those prices I might as well get the takara AOE version.

With the HFTD toys that have a leader class version they just downsize the leader class toys. Examples: Optimus Prime (Downsized ROTF leader class Optimus Prime) and of course, because the video is about him, Bumblebee (Downsized HA leader class Bumblebee). P.S. I highly recommend the HFTD Battle Blades Optimus Prime he is amazing I got a second hand one for Xmas from my parents and I am in love.

I had this as a kid and I loved it, his wings sadly broke and I had to give him away, I'm gonna try my hardest to find him on Amazon or eBay

I just got this from Herocon yesterday cheap. And was it well worth the price. Blades,cannon, a battle helmet mode and cool transformation. Badass looking Transformers.

I think if you shift around the right and left lower arms, then change the hands, you could maybe fix the axe problem...

I would have exchanged the battle blade with a optimus prime battle blade and paint it blue

The reason why it's still the cocept camaro is because the camaro that Bumblebee's based off of is actually a concept for the Z/28 version of the camaro. Otherwise, good review.

very cool and with a few mods and swapping pieces from this bumblebee to the ROTF preview bumblebee, u can get a really awesome figure.

this is most definatly the best Bumblebee mold out there today, i only wish they didn't skimp out on the paintjob. had to paint in the parts they missed myself, still an awsome figure.

I do not understand why people say this is not a concept camaro. The design of the ROTF camaro is concept. It is different with a custom grill, rims, mirrors, and other car panels for exterior. Probably has a custom interior also. It is concept compared to the 2009 camaro.(in the 2007 movie) Seriously, it is annoying when people say this camaro is not concept.

Man... i saw one of these in the box... his pode in box makes him looks like he sucks! But when you open the box... OMG A FANTASTIC FIGURE! For me, this is the best bumblebee ever!

@optibotimus The cannon part has a brownish connected piece where it turns and goes over the arm to go into cannon mode. Also just wanted to tell you that Targets have deluxes for the original $10 price now.

I did a hybrid by taking the head and legs off battle blade bee because it was damaged beyond repair and improved my movie one bee, no regrets

@uxorialkopaka if you did that, the battle axe's blue would show on the guard all the time from the front idk if it's possible, but it would be easier to just take the blade out, flip it around, then reattach it

Get the custom Double Blaster Bumblebee from Savio-Prime. It's awesome too.

This vid helped me finish up my guy, I had trouble at the legs.

the battle mask is soo easy to flip down, i don't know why a lot of reviews say " its soo hard"

I am EXTREMELY glad i bought this figure.. I got it because i had no other bumblebee figures and i wanted one for my self but i actually got more than i expected... also my friend has the older revenge of the fallen figure

they still call it concept because bumblebee here is representing a zl1, not an SS model.the zl1 model is still due to be released.

It DOES come off as a different shade of yellow. And annoyingly enough, they did that with Reveal the Shield 'Bee's sunroof area, except this is likely because they changed the color of the clear plastic from a light bluish to more of a blackish to give that "tinted window" look...and being painted, it also comes across as WAY different. Even now I regret not having gotten Classics Bee. BUT, in the case of Battle Blade Bee...it isn't nearly as bad.

@optibotimus yes it was. believe me, i am a huge muscle car fan. i have a book on the new camaro. they are even making a new z28. also, if you watch the behind the scenes of revenge of the fallen, they talk about bumblebee having the z28 hood... the z28 was always a thought. GM just decided not to make it until now.... lol

They use custom vehicles in the movies (not including military vehicles),so they are not the same as ones in production.Therefor the "concept".

ALSO THE YELLOW ARM BITS SHOULD BE THE SIZE OF THE DOTM DELUXE BB ONES, BUT EACH OPEN THE SAME WAY AS THIS BATTLEBLADE BB, AND EACH HAVE THE GUN!!!! THE BLADES SHOULD BE SEPERATE, AND YOU FOLD UP THE HANDS AND CONNECT THE BLADES THERE!!!!

just picked him up today (amazingly!!! i live in canada...) i'm trying to decide if i should get another one.. the way the wheels sit behind the arms against the doors says Prowl to me... so i think i may do a custom, after i'm done with W4C sideswipe. the hip ball joints on mine are sooo lose though... he has mega trouble standing by himself.. :( oh well, super glue :)

I don`t now if you have tried it, nad neither do i own this figure, but i think it would be possile to fix the reversed axe problem. If you could maybe pick off the cannon and axe sections, and then placed them o the opposite arm, it might work.

I hate when the head pops off because it's hard to get it back on.

bee is the only one out of the movies that I thinks looks good ( I am a G1 fan and grew up with G1 if that gives you a sense as to why)

@optibotimus I GUESS U COULD SAY THE ARMS ACT AS CYBERTRONIAN CAR SEATS IN THE VEHICLE MODE!

I got mine for $1 at a flee market along with 2011 MechTech Deluxe Nitro Bumblebee for $1 and 2010 Battle Ops Bumblebee for $3. Also in that same day I got a 2009 Deluxe Cannon Bumblebee for $2 at a thrift store. They all have all of their pieces, Battle Ops Bumblebee is just missing his left side mirror and Cannon Bumblebee has a crack in his front windshield. Other than that they're all in near mint condition. Battle Blades Bumblebee, in my opinion, is by far the superior Bumblebee to this day. I would have just preferred to have had a second cannon instead of the axe. Or if they put in a swivel so you could rotate the head of the axe that would work just as well. Also when I transform this Bumblebees chest, I push the lights and the double hinge all the way up. Then I rotate the grills all the way up. Then I rotate just the front lights on their hinge all the way down leaving the double hinge all the way up giving the chest a much better look.

In my opinion, The DOTM Deluxe Bumblebee is the best, cause you have one weapon and you can put it on his arm AND on his back so he can have a shoulder cannon. But if I find this, should I buy this one or the Human Alliance Bumblebee?

Wow, the comments went south REAL quick. Dig the review - solid details as always, thanks for that. To drop my 2 pennies in the pool though, this BB is the best b/c of details, size, price & it still transforms like the movie render. BOBB's legs are too skinny & he's WAY too tall - he should be this size. The roof of the car simply slides in & out of the legs in the movie render, which should actually be possible in toy form, but I like the solid windshields more than I care about a backpack.
