For the first time in Kenyan history, the President's Aid-De-camp was drawn from the navy. Historically he has been drawn from the army branch of the KDF. The current ADC Timothy Stelo of the navy, with that white ceremonial uniform, resembles US marines the only branch of the US millitary entrusted to protect the US president. But all our ADCs have always performed exemplary well wether from the army, Airforce or currently Navy for the very first time. Major retired Masden Madoka notably is the very first African Aid- De - Camp, he served the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta when he was the President.

Whoever misled my president to make that political decision towards the end of his rule did us a grave injustice. I was so heartbroken to see how low he was during the handing-over to the new president. He was the only one in Kasarani that day reading a different political script from the rest of the fan crowd and the incoming leaders. I wanted to see him hand over power happily amidst a cheerful crowd of his own admirers the way Kibaki did but as it is he had a very low send-off. He didn't even make the customary lap of honour around the stadium - what, with such a heavy possibility of an eruption of hostility from a crowd that did not support his choice?! My president you should come back to your God and He will make your name great again. You followed your mind back then but Father is still waiting for you to reconcile with Him so He can show you the way again. Good luck in your retirement and future endeavours.

Very cool and humane President.... Just seeing the way he interacts with his staff proves how down to earth President Uhuru is.... Best part again was at 2:34 ,the his security guy turned away once the President stopped.. I love Kenya!!!!
That's pretending, when al- shabab were busy killing garissa university students he said there was no chopper to fly the gsu elites to stop the killings untill late in the evening, he had power to authorize even personal planes n military planes to carry the officers hastily to rescue the poor students but he never did it
