I love the collage(y) phases of Final Fantasy Final Boss. Even That Tower boss in FFVI was bizarrely visually beautiful to fight against.

One thing that keeps coming to me the more I listen to Uematsu is the amazing baseline he use in many songs. This is no exception. 0:24 and 1:51

ネオエクスデスと初めて対峙した時の背筋がゾワッとする感覚と緊張感は今でも焼きついていますかっこいいけど恐怖というか得体のしれない強大な敵に立ち向かうパーティー4人に最後はすごく感情移入していた気がします

1-I agree that The Final Battle is underrated. As much as I loved Dancing Mad and One Winged Angel, The Final Battle is often ignored unjustly 2-I agree with yiu about which oart is the best!

Yes, that was the era of strange and inaccurate translations for games like this. We also had to worry about text space, since you can fit more text in a smaller space with Japanese.
