I Heard These cars have a GPS Navigation. But Where Is it Kept? Because the Center Console looks too Small To Contain One... Or Is It An In-Dash Flip Out Navigation?
Bball336 I agree. Everyone thinks its a chrysler engine but its the HI TORQUE HI COMPRESSION 3.2 V6 from Mercedes that powered the 2002 E320 and CLK320. The CLK 320 with the very same engine hit 60mph from rest in 6.7 seconds and it weighed more than the Crossfire and thats with the very same 5 spd auto. MB engines are very fast even with low hp that's what most people that shop only by numbers fail to experience. MY CLK 320 hauls ass with the V6 and over 80 mph its hard to catch
Some of these comments are hilarious!Of course the basic crossfire can't compete with the cars listed below. But, the Crossfire Srt-6 will blow the doors of a lot of the cars mentioned in the comments below. Trust me I know I own one.
It is not just horsepower when you start getting into these luxury vehicles. It is of course the convertible top, the navigation system, sound system etc. Now, granted you could put this stuff on after the fact but when you start paying 40,000 it is more of having a status symbol
Understand 215 german horsepower is like saying 260 in American horsepower. Why do you think all BMW's, Audi's and Mercedes all have lower numbers than G35's Pontiacs and Lexus' yet they blow right past them???? The German gearing in the cars and the torque and technology is their edge they dont need 300 hp to blow the doors off an G35 ed
If it's a Mercedez them it should be a great car...i have 3 chrysler (le baron and 2 sebrings) and all 3 the engine failed on me.......never i'll buy a Chryslre again, but this one which is 80% Mercedez....makes me think....
Carlos wutke barwick it is a full on Mercedes in essence, the power train is full on Mercedes. The exterior is pretty well designed by Chrysler and the interior I'm pretty sure is done my Chrysler too.
Carlos wutke barwick I currently own a 2008 limited Roadster and I can say it is one of the most fun cars you can ever drive. Just a joy in the curves and gets all kinds of attention because it is a rare car and looks good.
Had a Crossfire for 2 years, 6-speed manual. This guy is nit-picking about the "slippery" stick, are you kidding me? He is just looking for something to bitch about.
Nope its a full MB engine. And that model shown is not the fastest. And either way its still not a full out race cars. its a sports car. It doesn't need 400 HP
Still wondering where those 31% Chrysler parts are supposed to come from. So they're buiding a partial car in Germany then shipping it over here to finish building it?? And it doesn't really make any sense to be shipping American made parts to Germany. So I'm guessing that eventhough they're calling them Chrysler parts they're still ALL made in Germany....kind of a moot point anyways since this car is history now that Mercedes split from Chrysler.....
There are no 2007's. The last year the sold a few 2006's but no such thing as Crossfire 07. Also hes missing the Cigarette lighter. Also the 2006 doesn't cost 40,000. You can pick up a Limited 06 in the Mid 20's.
yeah right he has driven lots of mercedes and he still thinks that the crossfire interior has something to do with mercedes..... it is cool because it is cheap but it is a piece of crap
This car is a piece of shit, other cars in it's class, S2k, 350z, RX-8(which i own) Audi TT...etc...all in it's class, but all kick it's ass. Terrible car.
because it couldn't compete with the other coupes in its class. the 350Z, the S2000, the Z4, the benz coupe are all much faster and much better performance cars.
those roll board are fake. it is slow. a Toyota Camry has more power and goes faster. and the 0-60 time is slower then a honda VAN with 7 kids in it also you said UMMM about 90 times
