The "hot stick" is an electronic long rod / wand looking device (about the size of a 2' broomstick) that detects and audibly warns of energized electrical power wires - a way to check if something is "hot" from a distance & without touching it, like following an auto / power line accident or natural disaster where power lines are damaged and down. 2. the RTF bag is a "rescue task force bag" or kit and usually contains Items like: Tourniquet, Triage Tape, Trauma dressings, compressed gauze, a vented chest seal, and surgical gloves etc...
