The Highlander transition from fish tank to loch may be relatively simple to pull off TODAY, but it was originally done in 1986 without digital at all (more than likely 1985, since the movie was released in '86). It's pure talent.

The jumping drone transition will be great for a subject jumping into a pool. And perhaps as they hit the water you can add another transition that goes underwater with them or goes to a new underwater shot.

Check out the the assassin's creed origins cgi trailer for some dope transitions through out the trailer. First video is basically a 360 degree camera where you can rotate the camera in any direction and hit save in a software 3rd video he didn't track anything . It was 2 seperate video. After he placed down the camera he jumped in the 2nd location, all he did was stitch the final frame to the 12 floor as a single plate and masked himself from the 2nd video to appear as if he's jumping in 1st shot..

If it was me i would take two shots one on the bridge other on the car one will be zoom up too the bridge won't use a phone then i will act like dropping the phone then add some camera shake, pinch , turbulence, and rotate the camera. Mat paint the person and track the bridge to give him standing view . And it can be 360

Hello. so the shot that you loved so much with the dude with the sword that went to the fish that went to the lake... that was from a movie called the Highlander the original Highlander movie was released in 1986. so think about how that was actually done... it was all done old school not with rotoscoping.. The next Highlander movie was called endgame and that came out in 2000. but because the age Of our Highlander there I think it was the 86 version that you were looking at.

1st one is a creative crash zoom, 2nd and 3rd match cuts etc. Absolutely don't want to sound pretentious, I'm new into YT editing myself, just pointing out and realized myself that learning from traditional cinematography makes your videos skyrocket in socials
