My cat is dying. I got him when I was eight. I would leave this running on my tablet when I went to third grade for him. I gave him an old shirt of mine to be with, too. Because I was scared that he would miss me. Now I’m going to have to put him down. And I’m watching this one last time with him, me crawled under my bed to be with him. So please, if you’re with your cat right now, give them some love. Just appreciate the time with them. Much love ❤️
Uggghhh I am sooo sorry 😥 I had my cat for 18 years, and had to put him down in January. I feel your pain!!! I got his paw print tattooed on my wrist. Love it.🐾 I just adopted a kitten 3 month ago. It certainly helps with the void, but doesn’t replace the loss. So sorry 😐
There’s no pain like it.. I lost my lili after 21 years I got her at the age of 21... I had to make that decision at 42... she’d been with me all those years through break ups, loss, loneliness, a lifetime... I sat with her the day before, she lay on my legs, and I sat still for hours, it broke me to lose her. Broke my soul in two. I have three more now , but it took seven years to finally stop grieving.. I’m so sorry for you, I know that pain. My heart really breaks for you.. I know it’s been a month since you posted but I hope you read my message..
@@ND1966p I’m so so sorry ♥️ my cat was only just shy of 6 years- so it’s not exactly the same as yours. But he did pass that night, I believe. If not, the next day. Your message means the world to me ♥️ and my heart goes out to anyone that’s gone through this. Looking back, I’m glad I was given the option to give him a peaceful death, even if it meant sacrificing a few more days with him. But I think I’m holding up well- I got a small locket to put a tuff of his fur in, and stuffed away a toy I got + the last toy he played with and put it in a heart shaped box. I tend to love on them when I start missing him. But again: thank you so so much for the messages ♥️♥️♥️
I used this yesterday when I put my 19 year old cat to sleep.. Just wanted to say thank you for the video.. It brought him great comfort.. Fly high my little baby.. See you again in heaven! ❤😢
Every Morning, my Russian Blue kitty HAS to watch this for at least 30 minutes! she will post up in front of the television until I play this video! Also, she doesn't accept substitutions, it HAS to be this video, it's her favorite! So thank you, from me and Mischief, we absolutely love this video! ♡
My Big boy older kitties had the time of their life. I thought it would enrich their lives. I of course did a running commentary, You know pet the squirrels. Call them good boys. We just had a good time. Thank you from an older lady that can't get out much.
I love this video. We are in our old age now, and my husband feeds the squirrels every morning. The first squirrel in this video looked like our very first visiting squirrel, Peanut. When I first saw this video, I told my husband that I found him again. Peanut had gone Hollywood!
My cat doesn't normally react to my laptop screen, so I was surprised that he noticed this playing and enjoyed this. He was looking over the side trying to figure out where the squirrels went. He also stood on it and tried to bump noses with one of the ones that came really close and sniffed the camera. :) Very entertaining, and a wonderful idea to make this video!
My fur baby and I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. He loves a good nature program! Literally every evening he comes and asks to watch something and this in particular kept him riveted for over an hour! Trouble is he sometimes tries to grab the screen!😹
My cat is in love with the slow motion parts of the squirrels jumping and close to the screen shots. His eyes get huge and he even tries to crawl up to the tv to smell the screen. Thanks to who made this!!
This video so reminds me of my grandparents, who, in their later years, sold their tiny farm and moved into a small two-bedroom home in a subdivision. Each morning and evening, he would spend some time on the front steps trying to entice squirrels and chipmunks near with handouts of peanuts and seeds. After just one spring and summer, he would look out the window at daylight to see a half dozen or so already waiting for his morning gifts!!! In the second year, they would be bold enough to run up his trousers to search his pockets for their treats. Thanks for posting and reminding me of his love for these harmless little creatures. :)
just stopped to say this is my cat’s all time favorite video! she’s not even 1 yet and full of energy so i put it on for her at night and it helps calms her down. thank you for the video!
So sorry for your loss. My animal are just as important as my children. I got into a massive depression and into a care facility when I lost my pet. I wish you a recovery. You never really get over it.
Thank you so much for these beautiful videos My 15 year old cat and I, (were the same age in dinosaur years) have found great comfort in your videos. It is a selfless gift to us all.❤
my cat was laying on my chest and in order to keep her there i played her this video. shes old now and doesnt hunt, but sleeps all day and goes exploring around her territory around our house. she's too old to fight though. anyways, she watched this video with pure interest whilst laying on my chest for a good 20 minutes. i was interested too, and i could see she quite enjoyed seeing the squirrels :)
My cat watched 7 mins of this! He wasn't really into it but as soon as I forced him to watch it , he didn't take his eyes of the screen xD thank you for making this video so my cat had something to do except scratch my leg !
My lady cat loves this video. She had her paw on the computer screen several times. Then when it was over, she was puzzled and looked for the squirrels under my bed sheets :) It was priceless. Paul, you're the best, thanks so much.
This is my cat's favorite video! If you made DVDs, I'd pay a lot of money to buy them! I wish I could play them all day for my cats, but I work from home and need the bandwidth from my work! This is our after work treat! 🥰
This is my cats favorite video I put it on for her frequently when I am not home. She is really sick right now & I have it playing & she’s perked up a little. I wish I could download this to play on a loop for her
I love the quality of this video; unlike most my cat and I have seen! I love watching it as much as the cat does! Our time together each morning consists of watching this video. Thank you!
My cat Iris stayed glued to the screen for a long time. It was so cute! Thanks for making this indoor cat's life a little brighter today! I love the slow motion of the squirrel leaping.
Just a cute little message... apparently my cat subscribed me to this channel with her nose or her one front paw ol. She loves the videos and tries to catch the critters and she hit the subscribe button. Didn't realize it until i was getting notifications of new videos lol..too cute 🥰
My cat watched this and fell asleep right before it ended. He loved it and is sound asleep. Think I'll let it play again so I can fall asleep. He likes the squirrels and I like the nature sounds lol.
Thank you sooo much for your videos, sir. My cats love this video and so do I. I'm suffering from extreme mental health issues at the moment and watching my cats watch this video makes me smile. It's really relaxing to have it playing in the background, also.
This is my cat Hoagy's favorite of all your beautiful videos. We watched it many times this past summer when he was recovering from thoracic surgery, confined to one room and bored silly, and we still watch once a week or so. It got him -- and me -- through a really tough time. Many thanks, Paul, for your wonderful generosity and lovely camera work.
@PaulDinningWildlifeInCornwall I have a few different cats, but one in particular is a fervent fan of your videos. She's deaf and for her, visual cues are everything. While we have many squirrels in the yard, there's something really special about the way this video is filmed. She gets fully engaged with each scene, but that magpie at 6:31 drives her bonkers every time. Keep up the great work and you have a devoted fan, even if she can't appreciate your fine audio tacks as well.
08:04 is my favorite scene :) one can even see the cute little tongue. The slow motion effects in this video are great. At 21:28 and 28:55 there are some rare wild ducks in the background
*My 8 year old cat didn't care about this but my 1 year old boy was hooked the whole time. He just watched the squirrels but wanted to go for the birds* 😅
+hugo fernandez Psychologists call this a "supernormal" stimulus. Bigger can be more tempting to the brain. A supernormal stimulus works to seduce with drugs, porn and food and works equally for brains of people, lab rats and apparently cats. My cat was transfixed and preferred it to the doves in a flock which frequent my window ledge.
We are in quarantine and i showed this video to my cat, he absolutely loved this, thank you so much for this video, He was so interested and happy, and i got joy from watching him and his silly faces he made. Me and my cat give this video 6/5 purrs!
Thank you Paul. Your videos for cats are a life saver for my cat who has a poorly ankle and can't get about. The photography is so good. You must be very patient too.
