I have had turtle as my life companion now for over 20years and they really do feel if you touch their shell.. also they are more intelligent than many think they are 🙆 Still ballsy move to try kiss one..
In Pune, India a couple of years ago some guy trained young monkeys to steal expensive smartphones. And because monkeys are considered sacred in Hinduism (and also because they were really young) no one wanted to hit them. So for like a whole year people would see monkeys outside their windows and immediately close all the balconies and window doors and hide all their cellphones out of fear.
@@kayleecrafton4235 It's Biang. it was an old character, can't be typed on a computer. nowadays it's used to describe a type of noodles, biang biang noodles. (if you want the real meaning, it's literally the sound of bouncing noodles.) look up 'most complicated character biang', and you'll find the history.
Is it just me, or does Ludwig in black and white look much sleeker? Like he belongs to the music video of Suit & Tie or something. Maybe it's the pompadour, or that his lines are a bit more exposed. I can't tell but it suits him.
I went to the Sydney Observatory when I was 11-ish & they had big telescope in a circular room that moved! The room would rotate with the telescope because it could only look through a gap in the ceiling. Anyways the point is the tour got to look through the telescope at Saturn & it looked exactly like that. When we all remarked how close it looked the tour guide lady said that pretty much everyone says that & she once had a class of kids completely believe that she was messing with them and it was just a sticker on the lens. No matter what the tour guide lady told the class none of them would believe her.
About a year or two ago, I finally got my own telescope/attachments that let me see Saturn. It was so incredible that I started crying😂. Hopefully I’m going into aerospace engineering, so I can create cool things space related!
About the solar parhelion: There are actually recordings of people in medieval times seeing this event (and also the rainbow rings that sometimes appear around the sun) and thinking that they were signs from God about Armageddon. Hochelaga has a super interesting video on it (and others, his channel is great) called The Little Book of Cosmic Horrors
Love that that first vid has finally gone viral. Circulated through the motorcycle RU-vid and made it into Reddit this week randomly. Great karma video.
Turtles DO have nerve endings on there shell (they are not very sensitive). You may have seen videos of tortoises rubbing up against brushes with their shell. Im not sure if its for the sensation of being brushed or like a vibration thing, but they like it i guess.
It is actually very common. Sounds fake, but it’s not. Common all over the world, Bangladesh has some of the highest ground water arsenic concentrations.
Me: it's kinda obvious. Higher the mountain denser the humidity in clouds, when you stand w your back to the sun it projects your shadow on to the denser mist in the clouds, creating an image.
to be fair, and i have no idea if lud actually knows this or is just accidentally correct, the aposematism/vibrant coloration on a snake could be either a warning sign for predators to say “if you eat me you’ll die” ie poisonous, or “back the fuck off if i bite and inject you with venom you’re done bitch”
I got a big telescope and it’s actually kinda hard to pin point it on to something. You can only look at it for a few seconds before it moves out of view. And with things that far away, the smallest adjustment moves your view so far
Why wouldn't you trust Santa? He KNOWS who's been naughty or nice. If anyone is capable of being judge, jury, and executioner it's Santa. Santa as judge Dredd also seems like an amazing idea, so amazing I couldn't keep it to myself
I know ludiwg mostly streams, but I really enjoy his youtube videos. It's chill and fun, I dont think there's this kind of vibe anywhere else on the internet, its so specifically him.
hands down lud makes great video ... and it does bring smile...i just wokeup and play lud's video while at breakfast..keep it up really enjoy you content :D
Fish in the water bubbler has got to be the easiest prank ever. 1. Remove water. 2. Drop fish in opening. 3. Put water jug back. My dad's senior class put a cow on top of their performing arts center
when it comes to colour TV I remember in the 2000s as a kid that my grandma had old TV sets that still could connect to channels I was familiar with and saw in colour. when I got to see them in black in white it was so fascinating flipping through the channels is still one of my fondest memories
7:20 to explain it, the person is in between the sun (light source) and the clouds, which casts a shadow. Hope this helps! edit: to not be sarcastic though, the change from b&w to color tv must have been crazy, I could totally see someone thinking that the color would take away from cinema because it "doesn't look like a movie anymore" type shit, imagine putting a vr headset on these people, they would explode lmao
I would just like to say to Lud: Yes turtles do have nerve endings in their shell, you can pet it and they will feel it, but they also like rough bristles because they can get a good scratch in. I highly recommend looking for a video of a turtle getting a scratch, they look very happy
Bro nearly 3 Million Subscribers Lud. Can't wait to see it tick over. You've done so much to get here. You deserve it all, and as always, not parasocial ;)
My heart grew three sizes when I saw that mountain shadow post and thought, “Wow like in One Piece”, then both chat and Reddit having the same thoughts.
My mom's family TV growing up was black and white. She told me she was watching Batman one day and a promo came on that said: "You can now watch your favorite DC characters in color!" So she ran to her mom and pleaded for her to change the TV settings to color, not realizing you had to buy an entirely new TV.
