I dont understand if a boy has got an effeminate way of talking, why does that bother you so much? He was one of the Tiger reporters back at TTIS from Kolkata, has been interviewing celebs since school and I had an opportunity to interact with him. He is a very talented and a hard working person.
@@muslimah5155 that was an adaption of Silk Smitha life's story. You don't expect a movie made on most famous special (item) song dancer in to wear Burqa do you?
Actually I just want to say. A star kid cant choose their parents so whenever they become actor or actress with the help of their parents society starts to talk about nepotism. It's actually not their fault for being a star kid. Most people like you have to understand thisn
"I didn't look in the mirror because I felt ugly..." this is coming from one of the most beautiful women in the industry. Words hurt even the strongest people so take your lesson. And casting people in the industry--- if you want to reject someone that's ok but don't break their self esteem like that no?
I don't think it was for casting couch...just the person doesn't understand real beauty and talent....just commercial, thin tall fair rather pale looking girls with no talent to act they are looking for.
@@deedee-vl4lu Point isn't if it was for casting couch or not. The point she made is that people can be brutal with their words and destroy someone's self esteem simply because you don't fit THEIR preconceived notions of beauty. Casting people can reject someone if the 'look' is not what they want but why degrade someone saying "Does she look like a heroine to you?" And more power to her because she's proven that she is. But the reality is that this sh*t happens everywhere in every industry and people like her are eye openers that commenting about someone's appearance, and overlooking someone's skills because of it should not be tolerated.
When I was young and watched “dirty picture”, I remember thinking it’s vulgar and dirty. Something like this shouldn’t be made. But now that I’m grown up, and watching this interview. A sudden realisation stuck to me. This.. this is not vulgar. This is.. this is indeed a truth of someone’s life. This is how many, many amazing actors are lost in midst the dirty water of entertainment industry. Honestly, not thinking about it.. that movie was.. really good. It showed the truth nobody tells you about. The reality hidden in the training world of big screen. Damn
@@dia6976 She did lot to this bollywood industry..i hope i won't need to say more on dat! Everybody knows about it...one of the gr8st actress of this era..beside that a good human being also..a positive lady who fought against all the bullshits that everyone passed on her. Dats why every girl should make her an inspiration!!!
Bollywood is full of surprises. one of them is this where talent of an actress gets rewarded only if she is ready to compromise.kudos to Vidya for handling odd situations bravely
one of the most honest interview I have ever seen. Its felt like a good conversation on my screen and no show off. Loved the guy taking the interview ... not fancy and being natural is the best way one can present him or herself.
That she can talk so calmly and gracefully about her struggles shows the strength of her character and what a wondeful role model she is.And yes,it's absolutely a story that needs to be told more often.
Such a good interview....and yes Vidya Balan has broken many jinxes, many stereotypes attached to heroins in our film industry...it's the talent that matters above all.
This is the bestest interview of Vidya I have ever seen. Her generosity and sobriety is her strength, indeed. Being in stardum and maintaining this sort of cozy attitude is fabulous. Love you Vidya. You're an inspiration to me as well.
A compliment is best served when it isn't given in comparison to anyone. Even though it maybe true. Vidya Balan is a brand on her own. She's stunningly gorgeous and smart.
' The only consistent person in your life is you.' Thank you so much for your comment Vidya. I also learned it in a hard way. I was criticized for my skin colour, body shape and overall beauty for my whole life. I felt ugly too. But finally I realized that this body is given to me and I am the only person who needs to accept it, respect it , love it and take care of it. Now I love myself and my body and feel content 😬.
Ma'am, you're every bit beautiful. Don't let others tell you how you are. You're the prettiest the way you are. Never ever give anyone else the right or license to put you down. They aren't worth it. Sending lots of love your way!
You are a true actress😃😃..not fake body builder.. I appreciate Aishwarya, priyanka, Madhuri, kangana and you. All are Diamond of Indian cinema. They are from root level.
That's why I love Vidya Balan!!! She was strongest female actor in Bollywood Industry. Whenever everyone put negativity on her, she replied it with love. She was the only female actor that she didn't need to wore a short or a sexy dress for being beautiful af, because she was already beauty inside-outside!!! She deserves to be rewarded as the Queen of Bollywood for her natural excellent talent, intelligence and toughness♥️
Love the way she carries herself with dignity. The interviewer is also great, no stupid or uncomfortable style of questioning. Yes, we need to love ourselves first, no one has the right to shame anyone.
If there's one person I really look up to in the Indian film industry, it's Vidya Balan. Always beautiful, confident, intelligent, forthright, honest, and genuine. So much to learn from her and how she carries herself.
Thank you so much Vidya Balan. I went through a very similar experience where I was brought in front of someone with my mother who called me "a waste". It made me feel like shit about my personality. I'm still getting to love myself in my early 20s. Thank you for letting us know that we are not alone.
couldnt agree more! she channels her anger onto her performances and turned it into positivity...Where as Kangana and her sister are waiting like a hawk to butcher ppl on twitter or in her intvs..
Yes what is there till end is we, ourselves. Accept yourself as Didi BK Shivani says, as all Swamiji says and as our dear Vidya Balan ji have said. I agree with you completely. And for me you are definitely a superhit performer. All the best and God bless👏👏😀💖
Interviewer, so patiently listening to the guest, without interrupting and being empathetic. Good going boy, seniors should learn from you. Vidya, as always sweet n humble
Lately I have started loving these Untold Stories that Pinkvilla lets us know and when I see this guy sitting on the interviewer's seat, I know it's going to be worth a watch. Besides, it's an honour and pleasure to listen to someone as proficient as Vidya Balan 🙏
The interviewer was polite and respectful and that was the reason vidya was so comfortable sharing the personal details. Addressing her as mam was so refreshing. I feel senior journalists are in the capacity to address stars of stature with name, but the young journos and Rjs , when they try to over smart and being extra friendly its very cringy. . The only off thing in this interview was the semi horror bkg music
Beautiful interview. I really loved the young boy taking the interview, such an amazing gentleman with poise, controlled words and gesture. Its so good to see his interviews. We now need such interviewers. Good luck👍🏼
Pinkvilla, i also want to become an actress and these untold stories of outsiders really makes me mentally stronger and helps me to keep going... Love you. Thank you PINKVILLA
Vidya Balan is one of my favorite actresses in the world!! I'm a south pacific islander and I love watching Indian films. I think indian films are so vibrant and the music is just beautiful even though I may not understand the language. Indian women are so beautiful! Vidya Balan is beautiful and her confidence I admire so much. 💗💗💗
Thank you for such an eye opening and authentic interview. Vidya mam is so real, and fantastic, the interviewer is fresh and great, one of the best interviewer/anchor on RU-vid.
How gorgeous VidyaJi and supremely talented ! Its a shame if people of your calibre dont get the recognition and immense respect they deserve..hope things change soon. Kudos Ma'am for being so forthright and also to the interviewer!💕
There is something about her I used to always live..right from parineeta..I genuinely feel that she acts really well..I can always feel a connection with her..
someone may find you drop dead beautiful...some may find you ugly...but what you feel about yourself is all that really matters... very inspiring lines to everyone who have some issues with themselves....
A worth watching interview... It should have taken the viewers back to Vidya Balan's life and could reciprocate her struggle to stardom.... It is truly inspirational for oridanary women like me...Valuable interview!
@Mill Maroon so what, then we have to shame both north and south film makers who do these cheap antics still in this century. It doesn't matter where they are from
Please stop denying. South industries are very sexist. I'm South Indian too. Look at malyalam film. The man who got an actress raped got accepted back.
@Mill Maroon I am from South, lived in Bombay and other Indian cities, now live in South and saw the difference in culture. Here still women are a commodity and easily take them for granted. In North at least women have their voices.
@@poojan423 also Mohanlal publicly said that ' me too' is a new fad. And everyone knows how AMMA association works in Kerala. Sidhik openly criticized Hrithik Roshan for supporting the actress who alleged against Viakas bhel.
"Senior" interviewers need to take a lesson or two from this interviewer.. calm, composed and treats the guest with genuine respect .. without any provoking questions or fake flattery comments.. he kept it fresh and real.. 💞
Now this woman i consider as the face of empowerment! With all the struggle and hardwork she's made her NAME! unlike kangana who defames others and puts them down for herself to rise!
Why are you comparing ? It’s different journey for different people. The other star kids are afraid of Kangana and publish their negative News because film that Vidya can play cannot be played by Aliya or other star because of the reason she looks mature because of her body figure but Kangana can do the roles . That’s why they are after her. She has to scream and put her point through otherwise they will shut her down slowly she may have vanished even doing good films. There are so many examples earlier where any body spoke anything about Bollywood insider they were gone. Even with Vidya all these so called big actors mocked her in Filmfare stage for her dress in Hey Baby, I remember Farrah saying she could never see Vidya dance . Now it’s all praise. They are hypocrites.
A beautiful person inside out. She deserves all the success. Such an inspiration she is. To me she is the ACTOR of this industry. She doesn’t brag like other self made stars :) love you Vidya ji
Very nice interview, worth watching. The anchor is to be applauded for the comfort factor that he has provided. Friendly young man. She's honest and hasn't shied away from revealing the truth behind the film industry and it's casting couch 👍
This interviewer is actually good, he asks important questions.....I wish Bollywood actors and actress name all the casting couch directors/ actors and so on so they get scare and don't think about doing such things in future.
