Accelerated ageing of our watch bearings ⌚
Last year, Luca Pepe did his Bachelor thesis as well as an internship with MPS Watch. His work focused on the accelerated ageing of our watch bearings.
Based on the capabilities of a robot arm from HE-Arc, he has developed an aging procedure containing shocks and movements. This procedure attempts to reproduce the natural movements that a bearing undergoes over the course of a year.

Luca Pepe a effectué l'année passée son travail de bachelor ainsi qu'un stage avec MPS Watch. Son travail portait sur le vieillissement accéléré de nos roulements de masse.
En se basant sur les capacités d'un bras robot de la HE-Arc, il a développé une procédure de vieillissement contenant des chocs et des mouvements. Celle-ci tente de reproduire les mouvements naturels qu'un roulement subit tout au long d'une année.
