I got the idea from his video too. I used a paper towel for my wick. I’ve run four or five tanks full through it and it’s still going. First time I tried it, it went over 40 minutes on four ounces. I like it. It’s so easy to make, costs nothing and it works! You can’t beat it.
My first one got blown away when we had a wind storm.. It was on my cook table. Next time I will put it away. They are very light but the best kind even better than the expensive ones I bought.
Friend, is it really recessary to remove the bottom of the inner can? Could you just put the holes in the side at the bottom as you have done but not remove the bottom? I am working on using a can of peas for the inner can and a can of tuna for the outer. Here we have rather flat but wide tuna cans that hold the "pea can" just fine. Will give it a try today. Regards
Nice stove man, nothing like making ur own and getting to try them out,if the weather ever clears up,I wanna try out my mini corn can grill lol, thanks for sharing buddy
Carbon felt is what ur looking for but looks like yours worked good i watched this guy cut open a tangria alcohol stove and looked like a cotton fiber cloth was used as the wick
@@chiefkirk look into copper coil jet alcohol stoves and tetkobas chimmeny jet stove both builds are a lot of fun im sure youd have fun building them ive been working on some designs of my own idk if ill post them
I just made my second one. Rubbing alcohol has to be at least 90 % Heet is toxic and may be dangerous to use. I would never use Heet, Also he clearly says it doesn't matter how many holes, I only put one. Mine are perfect.
