your voice overs are SO well thought out and thought provoking and introspective and SO special idc ill never stop talking about how much i love them;)) ur videos are THERAPY, it's always so magical watching your videos and you just living life and having fun! good luck at school. we’ll ofc always be here;)))💕
eva, i swear if you wanted to write a book, you’ll be brilliant at it! the way you observe and then describe things is immaculate. i have a feeling like the voice overs are written like a monologue in a novel, it is so poetic & i love it! these euro chronicles are really keeping me sane whilst school, they’re like a breath of fresh air, THANK YOU YOU RE AMAZING ILY 🤎🤎
your story telling ability is off the charts, every time I think it cant get better it does, and im taking inspo from u and these vids for my college essay bc I just know without the vid I would still be able to picture everything u describe and talk about, u'd be an amazing writer if u wanted to be!
these videos are beautiful in every way, maybe at the end you could do one explaining how you guys budgeted/got a hostel/planned for the trip etc? these have inspired me so much!
If you ever return to Vienna: everyone and their grandmother make a better Sachertorte than the original one. I would recommend trying one at almost any coffeehouse but Sacher
eva i would highly recommend you do a solo trip one day (if u haven't already??). ur such an introspective person and so appreciative of the culture of the places you go to, which can make for a very relaxing time. and i think you'd really value it seeing as u journal. ironically one of my only solo trips was montreal and i loved it very much
The two identical museums facing each other are the Natural History museum and the Museum of Fine Arts (Kunsthistorisches Museum) commissioned by the emperor Franz Joseph I, they were meant to be a part of a much bigger project for the city. Both are worth to visit ✨
adored the video; i’ve been writing my common app for college and i just wanted to thank you, for one being a refuge and second, for being so descriptive in your detailing of each city that its actually helped me with my writing 💗
this is what i needed for a bad day!!! you're my fave youtuber since day 1 !!!!!!! ur vlogs are just so comforting & pleasing 💌 i love ur contents !!! 🤍
I have lived in vienna my whole life and I love the city a lot but the way you made it look in the video gave me chills! I fell in love with my hometown all over again, thank you
You have a cultural heritage that the northern cities lack due to their grayness and cold architecture. Also that the city has not been built with the car as the center of everything like in North America
I live in Vienna and work at the vintage fabrik, so it was really nice to watch you present it so kindly! Vienna truly is beautiful and your vlog is as always a work of art🌞💌
Lo q es este vlog y el d Praga 👌👌. La verdad son muy divertidos con toda esa vibra juvenil en conjunto con los ambientes tan frescos d estos lugares. Quisiera poder recrear estos viajes!!! Buen trabajo, girl😉
eva! i truly enjoyed listening to you talking about the museum and i love the way you describe everything that you see! it feels that you appreciate everything and it also makes this video so good and interesting to watch! :) we love ur vlogs!!
As an Austrian I don't get the hype about Sacher Torte either. But you would have to try the home made apple strudel from my mom, warm, with a fine note of cinnamon... nothing better than that! :)
This was soo delightfull to watch 💖 i loved the museum part. Your visions and comments about the works were incredible. Always love the art trips. Thanks for that. It made me want to go there right now
hi eva! i totally understand if not, but do u mind sharing around how much you spent on this whole trip? i want to go on a similar trip next summer and i was wondering how much to save up for it!💖
I literally screamed, when I saw your title. Because I love your Videos and I am from Vienna❤ It was really interesting seeing my city from a different point of view.
7:51 is the "naturhistorische und kunsthistorische museum" in slang some people call it "zwdemu" "zw" standing fot "zwischen" (between) "de" stands for "den" (the) and "mu" stands for "museen" (museums) between the museums because it's in between the two buildings (sorry if the description is off and/or doesn't make that much sence!)
Loved this episode! I am just coming to the end of my three month Europe trip, it's so lovely seeing all the places I have been also through your eyes.
Omg I literally looove your vlogs iam living in germany and iam so excited how you’ll like Munich and I can totally understand that the vibes do the people are very different from the more southern city’s but the most people are just not that outgoing :) idk but if you want to get some insiders about German or Austrian culture and would love to tell u some
A problem with visiting Vienna as a tourist - especially in comparison to Prague - is that touristy areas are relatively geographically seperated from "Real" Vienna due to their concentration in a few areas. Probably the reason for the vibe you deemed incomprehensible. That park is usually packed with local youth chilling in the sun.
Love your vid style, keep them coming! 3:20 6:50 17:10 Doesnt really have anything to do with the local cuisine but looks great - I would eat it^^ 4:30 Thats a legit place, I do recommend it - good choice! 7:43 You walked all the way from there to the Belvedere? Respect! But you do have public transportation going the same way^^ Anyway, thats part of the Hofburg Palace, the main residence of the Habsburg Dinasty in Vienna. They are the twin museum of Natural Science and Historical Arts. 15:40 18:00 Not my recommendation for a traditional coffee house anymore, far too crowded...but everyone flavour is different^^ There are definitly better locations for cakes and pastries. You didnt see much of the historical parts of town, but that didnt seem to be your goal anyways^^ Personally I recommend investigating your roots a bit, try to go to the area your ancestors where from - that could be interesting. PS: The Belvedere was the city apartment of Prince Eugene of Savoy - his main residence, Schloss Hof, is east of the city, there is a tour bus travelling there (if you felt speechless of Belvedere, wait till you saw Schloss Hof^^).
Girls you went to all the tourist restaurants/cafes - you pay around 20% more for everything and it is not even as good…as others where you get the same experience and less the price and better taste :)
Great video about my hometown, you really look austrian lol I just love that you LOVE anything you can find in any city but dont really get the hype of everything which is special about vienna lmao (btw vegan schnitzek lmao - its impossible)
