The brother in the beginning of the video...he looks like he has a boxwood clarinet. I love the basset clarinet too. A very unique design. Wonderful performance by all of these brothers. I really love the Viennese clarinet. It's the only clarinet I play.

Far from true. If anything its the reverse that are challenged. Anyway, the best players can and most of do play a variety of types and styles of music. The last thing any practiced musician should want is to be categorized is as a one trick pony.
