Vienna: Low Approach RWY 34 and VFR route 

Once a year or so, I try to fly the VFR Route Vienna. For practice and for the views of course. It is always uncertain if the traffic situation at LOWW allows this. So we filed a flight plan and hoped for the best. This time we were lucky. Immediately after leaving LOAV at Golf we switched to Wien Tower and were cleared into the CTR Wien via sector Sierra. We entered the CTR at Münchendorf and then proceeded to the field. Soon we were informed to expect to cross the field via RWY 34, so we turned toward the threshold. A little later we were even offered a low approach which we gladly accepted and got our clearance. The low approach was cool! After crossing the field, we joined the VFR route and enjoyed awesome views of Vienna. Then we left the CTR at Klosterneuburg and circled the CTR back to LOAV.
