To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on March 1, 2019. Participating young artists-alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2-had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. She is a pro. In 2019 she won the ISB and was guest principal at the Israel Phil.. She is already in my hall of fame along with Lorraine Campet, and Lauren Pierce in Classical Music , and not forgetting Espranza Spalding in Jazz. For me, Nina looks too big for her bass, in the best meaning. Women on the bass, in space, in power, I love it.

People should appreciate the difficulty in this situation rather than insert their negativity. Unless you have been at this level & experienced the tensions & demands, just appreciate the expertise. btw: the is f--king difficult!

@@shawnking6678 yeah well she got to audition because her dad was in that orchestra and got her an audition. Makes it easier to win if you're the only american auditioning.
