Hi, small advice - next time try Czech company RegioJet instead of this FlixBus. For the same price you'll get your private TV in the seat in front of you (like IFE in airplanes) with many films, games internet access etc., there will be stewardess serving hot drinks for free, free newspapers and so on....next time try them :)

Varun, I travelled on this flix bus route this year in June. I think the rule is, if you book the ticket on the spot or just an hour before, the ticket price on counter is more than what you get online. I don't think they were trying to cheat you just for few Euros. If they were asking for 20 Euros instead of 15, you get the bill of exactly 20...The extra money won't get in their pocket...I can tell you this by my experience.

Your series has been quite knowledgeable for the aspiring wanderers. Can you tell me how does the Schengen Visa works? Do we have to pass through immigration every time travelling from one country to other?

First off there is no cheating .You will get a receipt for what you pay. Secondly the prices change dynamically.. sometimes in minutes and if this guy had refreshed his mobile app , it should have reflected the correct price. The additional 2 euro charge is because when ever you buy over the counter they charge 2 euro extra more than on mobile/online. The service charge for personal experience (you may choose not to opt for that and save 2 bucks by purchasing thru your mobile app.)

We booked our bus early like this month but we are traveling this December and January.We are aware that those bus companies or even train tickets tend to climb up higher that the usual price specially holiday season and mostly people travels during that time. So we do not want hassle like this or paying more than we should. We rather book early for safety and not paying overpriced one.

Hi, I've taken the same same route from Vienna to Prague by bus in 2015. We were on a family vacation to Europe that we planned and executed ourselves. I booked it online through Student Bus Agency as they were pretty highly rated in TripAdvisor. Had a great time. No hassles whatsoever. But sorry to hear your experience. But, it's generally advisable to book online in advance for better offers and experience.

Yes Vienna Bus Station is filled with crooks just like every other bus station in Europe, but the city is spectacular. In Prague, when you go next time, try getting a one day or three day pass which is very convenient for Tourist's.

Sir, I think they were charging more in counter than in online because authority have to pay the counter guys extra where-as in case of online booking, one doesn't need an attendant to do his/her job hence the cost comes down...

It's like this. Watch what you do. Recheck everything before paying. Buy an European sim card. Set up PayPal before going to Europe. Use flixbus app. Keep you laguages safe and eat healthy.

They weren't trying to cheat you. Its just basic marketing, prices vary based on demand and by number of seats already sold.

Best way to book a FlixBus ticket online .. and 24 hrs ago .... FlixBus desk person always charge extra some time 2€ and some time 5€... And after every hr flix charges increase.

You have not seen Italy. There you definitely feel home, I meant Delhi. Places like Rome, Naples, Florence, Venice are full of pick pockets, pimps, hotel bell boys, cheaters. Every one is ready to cheat you such as bus operators, taxi drivers, porters. So, you feel you are in Delhi, public character wise. But policemen are helping travellers. Good vlog. should have visited 1 Rural side of every European Nation like ur past trips ,Travelling in routine Train,Bus,Flight, from 1 city to another city will be done by most ppl. Ur difference is u used to explore the unexplored side of travels. keep it that way if possible. Good if some Redbus. Its Good if u suggest Travel booking type apps u can suggest for every nation, to book busses,trams,flights.

Dude they have 3 different fares for the same ticket. 1. If you get it on app or website. 2. If you get it on the flixbus counter. 3. If you get it from the flixbus driver. (if you buy from the driver you may or may not be given a seat on the bus) no. 2 costs more than no.1 and no. 3 costs more than no.2 It is mentioned on flixbus terms and conditions. That's how it works :) Luckily you showed him the app ticket price so he booked you a ticket online. Obvious they would have understood half of what english speakers speak.

I have travel to many European country and also I have experience of flixbus. you must purchase online than you get discount. At counter it is expensive because that is why they prefer people to buy online. Please study the system of europe proper before you post half knowledge video.

The guy at the ticket counter was not trying to cheat, he was simply looking at a different bus and drop off station on his computer screen. As a matter of fact, it is impossible for the guy at the counter to cheat and the price will be printed on the ticket itself. It was not like he was trying to sell a 17 Euro ticket for 20 Euro, he was selling a 20 Euro ticket for 20 Euro... the difference in price could have been due to different departure timing, travel time, number of stoppages during the trip, drop off station etc...When the guy asked 20 Euros, Varun should have tried to verify the exact departure time and drop off location of the bus to avoid any confusion. The counter guy would have never shared his computer screen if his intension was to "cheat". I believe Varun understands that himself, but it seems like he framed the title of this video as "cheating" merely for RU-vid views.

Good video bro. Its better to book bus tickets online and you will received mail from flex bus with pdf tickets. Yes online we have to pay transaction charges but if you have Eur in your travel card then it will be less than 2 eur for 15 eur ticket. 🙂

Best way is via plane I travelled across 8 countries very cheap in Europe
