SPOT ON about people diluting the meaning of actual PTSD by using it for all their bs "trauma." My mom and I were kidnapped at knife point when I was a little girl and I had to watch her being tortured etc for 2 weeks. But I don't ever say, outside my family, that I have PTSD because it's become nearly meaningless because of all the snowflakes. Same with the word racist. My brothers were all in Vietnam towards the end and though I was too young for it they took me to civil rights protests and marches back when there actually WAS racism. In my 4th grade class a mother came up and went OFF on the teacher in front of all of us because the teacher had made her unbraid her hair because it was a .... (Inappropriate) hair style. Yes the teacher used the n-word in a 4th grade class. Mama said no racist was going to teach her child to be racist like them. She came back a couple of weeks later but that teacher never pulled that again. I know a guy who was in the Vietnam war and he got orders from higher ips who made him tell his patroon to do something that got everyone killed other than himself he atill blames himself t9 this day and it makes me feel like fucking up the ppl that gave him the orders because he didnt want to giev him those orders but he had to its just fucked what those guys went through over there and also i had a friend from1st to 8th grade who decided to transition from female to male and i just said (thats your choice and ill respect that) and while i might not agree with their choice ill rwspect their choice and not hate on them bit at the same time you cant change your gender no matter how bad you want to and i "loved" them because they were one of my best friends for 7 years and i couldnt just not be friends with them if the came up to me today and asked for help id give it to them evem tho our political agendas might ben massively different it doesnt change the fact that i care about them
The whole mask issued just with people still wearing them all the time I'm like they've already come out and said it's not helping they said that they've done studies now that show that it doesn't help so why are these people still doing this? There's a good fifty people around our town which is Juneau Alaska it's not that big what about 50 people that still wear their masks constantly and they're not people that look like they have immune systems that aren't working correctly or have serious comorbidity issues. Most of these people green between 20 and 40. A co-worker's didn't he constantly where's his and he's only like 23 and he has no comorbidity issues or immune system deficiencies. I did ask him one time if he had was sick and he's like no I guess he didn't understand that I was confused as to why he was still wearing a mask. But perhaps he's one of the"Walkers"there is a group out there fans that wear masks constantly because it's the Walker way. If you check out Alan Walker he basically is a DJ for music not sure exactly what they called his type of musician we're all they do is play with Beats he does have a few songs that people come and sing for him in but it's a whole storyline and everything and they usually their masks have a w on them
