@anshu lieyi well....China thousand years ago was seperated into many tribes...and nearly 1/3 of your land at the momment was belong to multiple-Viet ethnics which is called Baiyue (not Vietnam, Vietnam is one of many Viet-Yue ethnics). The Han ppl conquered their land and assimilated them. You call them Chinese but to us, they are Viet ethnic which was assimilated by Han. It was the story of the beginning day of history. If you do some research, the Vietnamese genetic has very little relation with China root. We are more belong to South East Asia families (85-90%) and we were the very first countries step the foot on the land we are living now and also moved toward to your Southern China land up until the Han people expanding their power.
