@@annakouznetsova1479 Wtf :D What kind of negativity in his actions and in principle in the video did you notice? Maybe you've been brainwashed into thinking that you can only notice the bad? Shame on you, get off this channel, Negative people create negativity exactly the way you create it. You are not interesting.
The people of Vietnam are some of the kindest and most generous people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting during my travels. I would absolutely be on the next flight out if I had the resources to do so. I adore the country and the Vietnamese. Awesome series Kurt!
Facts Vietnamese are some of the best people out there. My suburb has heaps down here in Australia and multiple families opened a massive market with all the best viet restaurants and foods to make a living.
network television is infinitely more expensive and barely even entertaining. thank you Kurt, come to the states sometime, you will be welcomed by most
It's the human connection. Doesn't matter what language you use, where you're from or what color you are - if you're down for some brews and laughs, it'll always work ☺️👍 People are fundamentally cool wherever you go (with exceptions here and there!)
I have stage IV Cancer. you are living the dream bro. please stay safe, take care of your health so you can continue this dream bro. I wish I could do what you are doing its my passion and dream but because of my sickness I can. Stay safe bro, and have fun exploring bro its the best thing in life. and say hi to tom aku for me
Great series on Viet Nam. I'm 73 so my perception of the country is what I remember from American news broadcasts from the war era. Thanks for giving me me a new understanding of Viet Nam.
for real. i was just traveling through vietnam, riding from saigon to dalat on a little scooter. started to rain so i pulled into a stall/restaurant for a couple beers to wait out the rain. some old men were sitting there and insisted i eat some of their food and drink with them. i asked if there are any hotels nearby, they said "absolutely not, but you can stay at my house". ended up following this old man through an empty farmer's field to a house. he showed me to a room that had a bathroom and everything, let me stay the night for free. refused to accept any payment. just such generous people.
Omg this takes me back. I remember being 19 and spending two weeks on a tour of Vietnam. We got the train for a few of the days and had to get up at like 5am it was exhausting but i remember sticking my head out of the train window. I hadn't realised what a vague memory it was til i watched this. Man it's so sad thinking that was 15 years ago. My biggest life regret is leaving when i did. I was in SE Asia for two months and felt like i was broken when i came home. England felt so depressing afterwards
Time and time again whenever I see videos of traveling in Vietnam and meeting Vietnamese people I can't get over how beautiful that country is and how warm and welcoming the Vietnamese people are. I use to think if I ever visit Asia I'd like to go to Japan or Korea first but, I think Vietnam is my #1
i mean the places where people treat you the best are also the places with most crimes...for example Brazil...people are amazing and culture is amazing i love it,but also you can get your hand chopped off if you have an expensive watch or luggage
Damn Kurt, you have an extraordinary talent of not only interviewing people, but picking high-quality people/stories to share with us. This video is a perfect example.
Vietnam fights for the dream of independence, freedom, and happiness. When we achieve our dreams, nothing can stop us from being happy, friendly and sharing that happiness. That is the goal we fight for, eliminating hatred and eliminating discrimination. Thank you for coming, thank you for giving us the opportunity to welcome you
12:37 its nice to see friendly passengers casually pay for you haha. Since youre a foreigner, the Vietnamese people see you as a guest visiting their house. Their hospitality is incredible ❤
@@HighSpeedNoDrag Complaining? You're wild, and how dare he compare things he knows to other things he knows, and having opinions about his experiences, the only one complaining here is you.
Disagree, he has his talents, but is a big dick...not respectful of women or culture....frat boy approach....I suppose if you like that sort of thing...
I am an Indonesian, living in Jakarta, I see your adventure is very pleasant, local people are very friendly to accept foreigners, even considered like family. This is wonderful.
I'm an American and Nha Trang is a very special city to me, In 1971 I married my beautiful Vietnamese wife there, We were married for 43 years until she died. Vietnam has the most beautiful women in the whole world.
I couldn’t stop laughing during this. Only Kurt buys a VIP cabin and ends up boozing with the whole train 😂😂😂. 30:50 reminds me of some wild nights out 🤣
The scenery through the windows with the palms and the sunset just sets the whole mood! The genuineness of your character peers through your videos! Thank you for sharing these experiences with us!
the only reason i get on youtube anymore is for your videos man, so glad i found your youtube! your life is what i hope i can do later in life! just going to different countries and experiencing random encounters such as these
What an amazing video of humans just being themselves and not letting language barriers get in the way of caring and having fun with one another, comforting as can be ....
Kurt. I appreciate your videos. If you knew how low in life i am right now, and you're channel put a smile on my face. Thanks for everything you have put out for viewer's. I hope life treats you well friend
@@jordanstorm7684Every time an American President comes over , they line up all over the streets to cheer! Most people rather cooperate with the Americans than the Chinese.
@@darrentran9719Firstly, there are no Americans, there are no Americans, it is only the American government, which, by the way, doesn't give a damn about Americans, preferring to invest almost a trillion in armed forces For war than creating a universal healthcare system. Second, you're talking about Vietnam as if you know the whole country, not every American knows the whole of the USA, the same goes for Vietnam, so this "anti China" is a legend in Vietnam. Third "cooperate"? Cooperate in maintaining this country with an army that carries out terrorist attacks in other people's countries and wants to be the only global power? Everything the US government accused the Soviet Union of, they became, "Accuse others of what you are"
Vietnam seems like a great place and culture to visit. When Kurt gives up using chopsticks and goes with the spoon, the man across from him says "more your style." Instead of judging or mocking Kurt, he is open to different people's way of doing things. Very cool and great video as always
There are a$$ holes and friendly people in every country. You give respect and are kind you get it in return most of the time. It's a human thing not country thing.
Your videos are great,Kurt! Thank you very much! I had been in Nha Trang in 2018 and I had a wonderful time. Go on with your videos! Greetings from Germany! Pablo :-)
I live in the USA. I went with my wife’s family to VIN Pearl and took that same train to Saigon about two years ago. Her parents are here in USA visiting us and we got to watch this video together. Thank you.
I absolutely love Vietnamese people. They treat you like family & make you feel at home 💜🥰💜 Truly enjoyed these past few videos you traveling up & down the beautiful land & their people. Safe Travels 🤙🏻

I really do love the courage you gat kurt caz....an adventure with you could be my dream for real...big love from kenya 🇰🇪🙏 God protect you alway african brother 🙏🇰🇪
Kurt wanted the life we also want but Kurt did something about it. We, on the other hand, live Kurt's lifestyle watching on a screen. That is why many people's dreams remain just that. A dream.
Well, he can afford it besides living dangerously. He's making millions but he lives in one of the most dangerous city (even though he's from SA) of the past and present: Medellín, Colombia.🫣🤫
As a devoted follower of your work, I found immense pleasure in this episode. Vietnam has held a special allure for me, given my father's service as a United States Marine during the war. Your perspective has only intensified my desire to visit. Thank you, and may your travels be safe, Mr. Caz.
That is what I needed atm seeing Communist Comrade General Caz in the beautiful country of Vietnam traveling and meeting the nice people of Vietnam part: 3!👍🏽🎉🇻🇳
Kurt you sacrifice so much to bring us the content we crave . Although I don't always agree with you it's the mix of types of content that satisfies all of us subscribers man what a treat !
I've been following for a good while. I'm damn glad I came across your channel years ago. You've taken me on a very good journey across this planet and I thank you.
In 1970 to 1972 I spent two years in Saigon. At that time it was a war city; whores and bars; getting beer, broke and clap all at the same time. I spent my one day off a week watching airplanes taking off and landing. Best show in town.
Fascinating trip on a Vietnamese train. You are a fearless traveler, Kurt! I admire your ability to make friends wherever you go. Thanks for taking us along on your journeys.
It was definitely not a VIP sleeper cabin . I think the lady at the booking-desk already told you that . The guy at the train restaurant said twenty five for the beer and you understood thirty five . Actually German is Duc ( Deutsch - in only one word ) not Duc Duc ( double words ) . Germany ( Deutschland ) is Nuoc Duc ( Nuoc in this context means country , not water ) . The South Vietnamese call corn Bap and the North Vietnamese call it Ngo . The Vietnamese travellers are sometimes very noisy (especially when they get drunk) but always very warm and friendly . That could bother and disturb the foreigners who are not familiar to the local culture and habits. Hope you didn't have any issue with that . Keep well and welcome to Saigon .
