Yep, Vietnam could have won this match if the stupid defensive line knew how to make an offside trap correctly. Their laziness gave theerathon room to make a quick assist. What VN needs to do in hope to beat ThaiLan is to have someone covers that #3 from Thailan - cover 100% regardless who has the ball - just follow him everywhere he goes. He is the heart and soul of the Thai team. Also, Thai seemed to study well the 3 defenders format from VN, so may try to alter the format as needed...
You can not cover him :) Theerathon is not playing Left back nor Midfield He's every where in the attacking area thats why Park can not do anything. When you try to cough Theerathon it makes you lost 1 player and make a hole in your team like Vietnam did.

As a Vietnamese I’m looking forward to the 2nd leg match between these two teams which are for certain the best 2 in ASIAN. Thai team played better in the 1st match and Vietnamese players did make mistakes at the defense and they did not have time to fix it as Theeraton was so excellent. I hope in the 2nd match in Thailand, Park will replace Quang Hải , Duy Mạnh and possibly Tuần Hai from the beginning and they will find a way to penetrate Thai defense which they couldn’t not in the 1st leg Win or lose is a part of sport and I hope both teams play the best in the next game and I will congratulate whoever win the next one Let’s sit back and enjoy the game on Monday

I’m not an expert but my Vietnam team defensive system seemed to be exhausted in the 2nd half 🧐 What the hell was wrong? They used to competed in 2 halves, overtime and penalties with other Asia countries during the past 5 years, since Coach Park led the team. There must be some invisible barriers different from the past matches that I cannot recognize. I need to see the spirit showed in the past matches, in which they changed many different solutions until the time was over, as Vu Van Thanh scored yesterday. But as a team, not by any personal player.

I dont know why there's a lot of people calling this Thailand team as their TEAM B. This line up is as strong as the old line up lol, most of these players aside from usual big names in Thai Football namely Teerathon,Dangda,Adisak,Sarach,Pansa are also star players at their respective club. Thai players with a very good accolades as good as players not in the line up. Chanatip is the only exception lol

Dude. We only have Teerasil and Theerathon as a support (and possibly a team carrier) for this team. Those 2 are among the few last year squad's member that came to play for the national this time. Other than that are Thai League 1 players that only get to play for the national team for the first time such as our goalkeeper Kampon.
