View from Alan McCarthy: Empowering Student Agency in Primary 

This episode takes us to our Primary Campus to hear from Alan McCarthy, Primary Principal. He shares an insightful update on the school's focus on student agency throughout the first term. Highlighting the importance of agency in both early years and upper primary sections, emphasising how students are given the freedom to shape their learning experiences. We take a look at various projects that exemplify student agency, including a fantastic playground design collaboration to redesign the children's outdoor learning space. Emphasising the Alice Smith School aim to foster greater meaning and ownership in students' learning journeys. Finally, adding an expression of gratitude to the school community, including staff, parents, and the Parent Teacher Association, for their support in creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment for all the Primary students at Alice Smith.
