THAT'S MY LETTER!!! I'm as excited to see this on RU-vid as I was to see it on Network Television years ago! --- Though, I've always been upset that because of my poor penmanship, Dave misread my town name. He says "Suttons River, Vermont", but it was "Saxtons River, Vermont". I dont blame Dave, it was my fault. But still, this is one of the proudest moments of my life!

Too cool! I'll bet back in 1991 that you would've never ever thought that you'd be able to see it again in 2023 via a computer or even by a smartphone too! LOL

​​@mattkramer4132 --- I actually missed this episode the first time it aired! (Luckily it was rebroadcast later, so I saw it and caught it on video tape.) I was a sophomore in college when this aired, and was in bed sick with the flu that night. BUT, my phone rang right away! It was a girl I liked who was also a big Letterman fan, telling me to turn on the TV. (I wasn't fast enough.) --- Happy ending though, we started dating a few years later, and now we've been married for 26 years.

The glimpse of Dave running by gag had been done before. It was also shown again on an anniversary show. I think it was worth using a third time.
