Oh my I just realized that this video is 4 years old!! I think one of your best and still so perfect to help us newer journal makers. Thanks and blessings from Ohio.
Thank you Gayle for always being so positive and uplifting. This video helped me so much for inspiring ideas especially for white pages in a signature. Love love it. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
I hit a dry spell with ephemera ideas so I went backwards and found this video that I had never seen. SO HELPFUL! A few new great ideas for decorating ephemera was just what I needed! GREAT video!
Gotta comment again.....This video has been SUPER helpful. Watching how you make your decisions in putting you journal together! Really Gayle, Thank You!
I absolutely love watching everyone of your videos. I learn so much from you. I am just starting making junk journals and you give me so many ideas. Thank you 🙏
One of the things I absolutely love, and it is especially true in this video, is your ability to quickly pick items for your projects....that is my struggle...I overthink everything and then I don't complete anything!!!
Thanks Gayle. These videos DEFINITELY are helpful for us newbies. And your videos are great in that I feel we are just chatting away while crafting. Love the checklist...will use that to make sure I have ideas on what should go in my journal.
Hello and thank you for this video!! Incredibly helpful for me as I am trying to complete a cowboy junk journal for my husband's birthday. You share so much and I am truly grateful. 😊
I wonder if you could use slow Stitch pieces for fabric flips? So u-tube suggested this video. I must admit I had forgotten some of this. The funniest part is I remember all the great stories. I use the strings, tiny yarn pieces or fabric scraps that are to small in place of fiber fill whenever I stuff anything. First time second time anytime I watch one of your videos you always make me smile you're like my little sista. My little sister was 7 years younger than me she was actually my cousin but my grandmother raises together when she was in her fifties we lost her to diabetes. But she could do a myriad of wonderful things just like you and she was a sweet and lovely as a perfect spring day just like you. I'm so glad that I found you Gail 😍🐞🥰
Gail, this is a very helpful video of your, PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER TALKING OTHER 12 ELEMENTS FOR A JOURNAL. Put all of them first together and close to the end of your video incorporate them to your journal...please. Love, love love your videos.
Thank you for sharing your ideas for your top 12 ephemera pieces. You are so talented...love to see your thought process also about where and why you put the items certain places as well.
I was viewing this on RU-vid TV today and wanted to leave you a personal message. I love the way you put together this journal all the ephemera that you made and the reasoning of how you placed them. I never looked at it that way! I really enjoyed this video even though it was a year ago. It was important for me to let you know that Gail! Tyfs!
Thanks Gayle for going thru all these additions. I sit down to decorate and it's like a blank canvas for an artist or white page for a writer, lol. Now I have a quick go to list or a lovely video to work along with. Sooo helpful! Thank you, thank you! Gina C.
Thank you for sharing your talents. I just recently found your videos. I have learned so much and have carried away so many ideas. I am working hard not to worry about everything being “perfect” and just enjoying my crafting time. Again thank you.
Your color choices are amazing. Being a beginner, i don't have all the lace and fabric to teach true awesomeness! But eventually i will get there. Thank you for making these bideos.
Very, very helpful, Gayle. Sometimes you need more stuff but you just draw a complete blank! I made a screen shot of your list and am putting it in my example journal. Thx. 🙏🤗
I know I'm late to the party but I really enjoyed this. I think having a go to list is a great idea to have. Sometime I get going and know I need to add something else but can't think in the moment. Great ideas and I really enjoyed your process of where you put it all throughout.
Hi such inspiration thanks for sharing. A little tip for napkins and getting the shape you want, just go round it with a wet paint brush and the excess will just slide away.
Thank you, Gayle. This was so very helpful to a newbie. Also wanted to mention that I do the same thing by cross-hatching the tail of my check mark when double checking something. ;-)
Perfect!!! Loved this video. Wrote everything down as I am starting a new journal with a friend. We will be doing it every Monday night for two hours. We will be facetiming. Your list will definitely help me. Thank you for the very informative video. Have a great rest of your day💞💞💞
Just love it. It's so helpful to me as I'm just starting to junk Journal. I finished my first one today. It's going to a friend in Florida. Thanks so much
All terrific ideas! I have a HUGE box of vintage material I didnt know what to do with. Now I know. I can guess that you just tore long pieses and rolled them up on cardstock to use as bellybands. Great great idea! I also inherited a very old sewing machine from my Mom but dont know how to thread the thing, so I dont sew anything. Maybe I need to pull it out and try again. Thank you Gayle for the inspiration!
Hello Gayle, i just found your channel a few days ago. I want to thank you so much for all the great things. Im just getting into this. Still learning. I have afew channels i view, im glad i found yours. Thanks you Adrienne
Oh my that's an awesome list, Gayle! You are so inspirational and a blast to watch, listen to and learn from.... I've been hawking you out (again) : )) to get ideas for my collage kits coming! Thank you!!! 🌻XX
Gayle you are so brilliant - gently making decisions and creating beautiful things, all the while helping us to see how it is done. Always if Iwant to be engaged, learn something and at the same time relax into the joy of journalling, you are my RU-vid go to channel. Thank you for your generosity in sharing what you do so well.
Gayle I just love everything about your channel! You are so talented ... you have the same style I have. I love anything vintage. I haven't started to make a junk journal before ... I think it will be very soon. Tyfs
Very pretty Gayel. I love how creative you are !!! Saved it to my faviorites, so that I can refer to your list as I finish my journals. I'm getting closer all of the time. Need to add just a couple of paers to each journal. Making ephermia to add to pockets, tucks and envelops. Prepaird lace to make more cofee/tea bag papers. Going to try food coloring again tomorrow
Just LOVE all the ideas you have for essential ephemera! Even when you are trying to decide where to put the elements, getting the 'walk thru' of the journal is an inspiration! As always. :) Thanks so much.
