I cant see your pointer moving on the screen so I am constantly frustrated when you say thing like 'you go here and save' or 'you click on this feature' and I am trying to see a change on the screen by which time you have moved on, its a bit exhausting.
Good question. In this activity I was working with blue, grey, and green infrastructure - urban planning terminology. Vegetation is considered green infrastructure :)
Pretty impressive you could teach yourself a program like this. Im at a university and struggling to understand whats going on in class lol youtube to the rescue as always.
Can you say why your version of ArcGIS Pro seems to run so efficiently? A simple task such as saving my project would normally take more than three minutes.
hmm that definitely doesn't sound right! I would check your computer specs match the Arc Pro system requirements (pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/arcgis-pro-system-requirements.htm) Good luck!
I'm getting an error message when I try to edit the type like you did. I believe I follow your instructions to the tee. Can you help? Thanks so much. I'm learning a lot. ERROR 000539: File "", line 1 =building= ^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax Failed to execute (CalculateField).
Thanks for the video ! What can I do if need to work with values in differents atribute tables ? For example I need to sum numeric values to get a total, but those numeric values are in differents layers and differents atributte tables
@@DrKJoyceThanks for your answer I really appreciate it. So there is any way to use Calculate field directly to calculate values that are in differents tables ? What about phyton functions ? Best Regards from Venezuela. PD: I love your channel, and the NZL- All Blacks are my favorite rugby team ! haha
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad it was helpful! You can get the dropdowns from the attribute table under the Data Tab > Fields then you can edit the domain of the field that you are interested in to add some dropdown options. Good luck!
Hello ! Excelent tutorial. Can you please explain how to do an if statement with field calculator. For example, if i want to calculate a field like !STATUS! = "EMPTY" IF !NUMBER_OF_PERSONS! = 0. What is the correct phyton sintaxis ? Do I need to use the code block ?
Why is arc so completely and ridiculously difficult to use? Using cad for the last 20 years I can produce a map 10 times faster with less headaches than stumbling my way through this horrible program. I've asked many many many questions to many different people and I never seem to get a clear answer. What is the difference between arc and cad? Why wouldn't you export your information to cad and make your life easier?
