This viewing is so accurate :) Constant creaming fire alarms, cheapest possible tiles in the bathroom and doors in the appartment, Ikea furniture mixed with mid range one and absolutely astonishing flat plan where the living room is smaller than the bedroom. :) Ah, Marina never change :)

Obviously this is only one part of Dubai and we are looking at the most expensive time of the year in January. Prices vary throughout the year so these apartments could be alot cheaper if you were looking in June/July as it isnt as busy in Dubai during the Summer months! Maybe we will check out some apartments for around £1,000 per month next time, let us know if you have any suggestions! :)

Thanks for the videos! Prices you quote are really maxed out, don’t reflect the average situation.. I’m a resident here, actually have been looking at similar apts recently.. Due to seasonal holiday traffic+Expo, some rental prices have risen over 30% since Aug.. lots of places offered as S-T rentals, also driving crazy prices, which I’m sure will abate significantly once Expo finishes (end March) and towards summer..

rentals from blueground are one of the most expensive but there furnishing is very good.

Great breakdown! First apartment would be perfect for a traveler. Second flat was nice as well but weird w toilet next to kitchen area. Also noticed groovy shower didn’t seem to have a soap nook. Starting to regret not taking a job there a few years back. Keep the beat going guys, great blogs.

A big factor to take into account is that the traffic in Marina is terrible. You need to aim the Marina side close to Media city. But for a such large budget I would consider West Palm Beach in my opinion. Best luck.

As a local, Marina is one of the worst places to live in dubai. It's always packed, crowded, and some weird stuff goes on there. I think foreigners assume it's nice, simply because it's pretty. However, if you're local, we often avoid this area. I'd recommend Jaddaf waterfront.

Great video. View is epic in comparison to London, but £5k is steep considering the kitchen and cupboards could do with some renovation.

The monthly price you mentioned, I get a 2bhk apartment in Sharjah that too for 1 year…

Guys I live in Marina tower, next to no.9 best and best of all in marina. Mostly because you will skip all the traffic just take right front aryaana tower, signal is skipped. Also this tower has sea view provided u get the right flat. But leaving in 3 months as looking fr villa.

Very nice but you should always provide the numbers of rooms and specially, bedrooms and showers/bathrooms to give a better idea of what we get for the rental price. Congrats for all these. I would like to view a 4 to 5 bedroom flat and also house if possible to give me an idea of the yearly cost.

The first one was way better. The second feels too compact and the view on the balcony isn’t that great. A bit uneasy about the balcony on the second - felt low!

Biggest ripoff ever. Senseless prices. I looked at the same layout in Cayan in august, 85.000 AED per year.

We’re moving to Dubai in January…..I dread the prices for 4 bed apartments.😂

Why is it that every house or apt I see in Dubai is more depressing than the one before? Just no soul, character or anything cheerful about it!

My advice in terms of location and quality of the building materials is Silverene Tower, next to Pier7. I have been living there for more than 3 years and I have many friends in other towers at Marina and JBR, and Silverene makes the difference. All the best guys

I hope we’ll see more interesting places than boring corporate apartments. I can see getting viewing fatigue quickly over the next couple months. . They are all starting to look the same. No style. It’s all about the view.

Si not rent trough blueground, they are extremely expensive and not worthy at all, better to rent unfurnished apartment and furnish by yourself.

Hey My name’s Kirsty I rly liked the second apartment. The first was actually, super nice also. I wanted tho, to get the second one for a year. I feel they’re a good price. I felt that I w like to move, somewhere nicer than where I am (Peterborough). It would be hard to move, bc of my voluntary work, tho Dubai, the two apartments, are rly alluring. Honestly, they’re so nice; I feel I w love to live there
