Yesterday evening, I was shocked to see this vigil for a young woman who had crashed her silver Mercedes into Woodbridge Community's manmade lake, which is shallow, on Thanksgiving Day, 11.23.23. A similar accident had happened before, a couple of years ago, but it was a man driving the car and I think his car had landed into the lake vertically. I am not sure what happened to that man. But this 30-year-old was pronounced dead when they finally found her and took her body out. It is sad and scary. I wonder how it happened. Was it too dark and they couldn't see ahead very well? Were they driving too fast and they couldn't control their car?
As I continued to walk on my meditative infinity-shaped sidewalk pathway, smiling with strangers, watching different wildlife, checking out dogs on leash, and checking out some holiday decorations, I enjoyed my peaceful and relaxing walk, feeling hope ahead.
